Reviews
What the previous speakers said. It works in Single mode. In any of the two RAID configurations, after a certain period of time, it freezes, the operating system does not recognize it, and you lose everything. I have tried it in both RAID1 and RAID0. In both cases, after a certain period of time, it crashes! In single mode, it works for months without issues. (I had another one the same from before without putting it in RAID).
UPDATE a week after receipt: There is a possibility that it has an issue with an old model of drives from a specific brand that I had because I put a pair of the same capacity from another company, equally old, in RAID0 and it has been running for about a week now without problems. If anything goes wrong, I will follow up, but I don’t think so; I have been very careful to be sure. I will temporarily add one star.
Translated from Greek ·Did you find this review helpful?Beautiful case and it seems well made, but its controller is partially incompatible at least with Debian which I am using: if the full SMART check is enabled (smartctl -a if I remember correctly), it hangs and needs to be shut down to recover.
Translated from Greek ·Did you find this review helpful?I won't start the same things - the previous one covered it in their description. It simply doesn't do its job.

Did you find this review helpful? To work the Raid needs a long time to reset and after 2 weeks of copying and storing my files from 6 scattered disks to organize them in Mirror (raid 1), it crashed and didn't recognize the disk, and I lost almost all my files... (fortunately, I still had most of them, even though some were rushed to be formatted...). Generally, there is no way for it to shut down safely on its own when you finish using it... you simply have to completely shut down the computer, not just Sleep, wait for a while for the lights on the device to stop, and then turn it off from the switch... the issue is that it's not clear when it stops, even if I leave it with the computer off for 1 hour... The issue is that even though it's Raid Mirror 1, the files were lost and some won't come back... I gave it a second chance and connected its power supply to a UPS to have a stable power supply, but I experienced the same problem again, as soon as it worked continuously for more than 8 hours, it disconnected on its own without reason and then couldn't see the files again... AVOID!!!
