  Starting the review, I would say that generally, blades are a very subjective thing and the experience varies quite a bit from person to person.

  I usually shave with a DE safety razor - traditional shaving, that is.
  However, I need a good multi-blade for rushed situations in the morning or for travel.

  As for the Hybrid Flex5.
  They cut very well on the first use.
  I tried them with very coarse three-day stubble.
  One can feel the blades somewhat rough, but they are definitely better in feel than the Mach3, which until recently I considered the best Gillette for my face.
  (In recent years, G has lowered the quality of the Mach3, which quickly drop in performance.)

  The Hybrid Flex5 requires good foam/gell, steady medium pressure, and a few passes to avoid irritation.
  I had a few small nicks around my mouth, but I overdid it with the testing and went for the ultimate against the grain.
  I noticed that at least with three-day stubble, they don’t clog immediately and rinse off easily under the tap (for a 5-blade).

  *I didn’t understand if this metal ball is there for functional reasons. It seemed a bit silly to me for marketing reasons.

  Their prices have gone up in the last year, but with a bit of patience, one can find them on sale in S/M for around 6 euros. It’s worth trying them to see if their blades suit you.

  I intend to try the simple Flex5 or Flex4 as well, to see if their blades without titanium coating suit my face better.

  Besides me, who is in the early shavings, the Hybrid Flex5 has been tested for about two months by my elderly father, who has a preference for Mach3. He found them quite sharp and considers them equally good.

  Give them a chance, they are good. Okay, they are not Gillette, but they don't have the same price either. On the positive side: they last longer over time. Their performance deteriorates more slowly than Gillette razors that break quickly, resulting in better results after 3-4 shaves. On the negative side: the head is somewhat bulky. To reach difficult areas such as around the nose or the edges of the lips, repeated passes with strange angles are needed so as not to miss, ending up with irritations and small cuts.

  Overall excellent blade. I just have to say that its efficient lifespan is 3-4 shaves for a few days' growth. After that, its performance significantly decreases.

  INITIAL EVALUATION: First time using it, based on the product's very good reviews. I have been using the Gillette Turbo Mach 3 for years, and for a few months, the Double Edge Gillette King C with Astra Superior Platinum blades. The Mach Turbo Mach 3 provides a decent shave, but the blades, besides being expensive, only last for a maximum of 3 shaves. The King C, or rather the Astra blade, requires several passes from the same spot to give a decent result, and unfortunately, you can't avoid cuts if you are a more hurried user who is used to multi-blade razors. The experience with the Flex 5 is unique. It shaves so deeply and without irritation that shaving truly becomes enjoyable. Even the sound it makes when shaving the beard is unique. The grip and weight of the Flex 5 are also great. The durability of the blades remains to be seen. Perhaps the only (relative) drawback is the length of the razor, which tends to touch the body when shaving the chin and below. However, so far, I consider it an excellent overall choice, both in terms of the razor and the blades.

  Bought in Canada in 2019, with a machine and 3 spare parts (as in the photo I uploaded), at a ridiculous price of 7.99CAD back then, which is about 5.50€. (and a $2 coupon for purchasing spare parts). I felt ten points higher as a Greek, for this Greek-made AMAZING product on Canadian shelves, but also for all the other Bic razors in that distant country. However, when I returned to Greece, even though the time hadn't come yet, I couldn't find spare parts. A year later, I found the spare parts, only at a large store "GD", priced at about 9.5 euros. So, I sent a letter to Violex about the unacceptable issue. Another year later, the price started to drop. Today, Violex itself distributes at a very good price. However, I want to emphasize that... I haven't needed the spare parts I bought yet.... The first blade gave me about 35-40 amazing shaves and I changed it. Just because I had others. No joke, it has an incredible performance and durability from another planet. Now I shave traditionally and use it rarely, but it is definitely the best Greek-made product I have ever used!!!   Excellent razors that have nothing to envy from more famous and expensive ones. They have a nice grip, good performance, and impressively long durability. I throw them away because I have to, not because they don't shave.
  They lose one star because they are identical (even the cap fits the same) to the "disposable" Bic Flex 5, which are slightly cheaper, and I don't see the reason for the existence of the Hybrid ones alongside them since they don't innovate in anything, only for the detachable heads (which are more expensive again).
