The temperature and pressure relief valve discharges the hot water contained in a storage tank when the temperature is above 100°C or when the pressure exceeds the valve's set value. The valve closes when the pressure and/or temperature decrease within the specified tolerances. The valve starts to open at temperatures between 98°C and 100°C.
