  -: after 2 years of use suddenly I started to receive notification from time to time that there is water in usb and I cannot charge it. Phone was never in water... now notification is gone and, but usb port still doesnt see a wire charger. Definitely it is a problem with a usb, now i have to charge with wireless always. Response from Samsung support - reset your phone
  Second disappointment: it almost never has a signal, nor phone, nor mobile data, no matter what operator's sim is on. Can use it properly only when there is a WiFi. Calls only via WhatsApp with WiFi. No matter where I am - emergency calls only..
  After reading forums- I am not the only victim with above 2 problems, some people even order spare parts from China and fix phones by themselves. Again.. Response from Samsung support - reset your phone.

  The phone is amazing, I got it used at half the price and it had minimal scratches due to frequent case changes. It runs very fast, the stylus for notes at school has been very convenient for me and I don't need anything else. It receives updates and overall it's worth the price I paid. If you shake it, you can hear the camera that has to follow you if you set it for a better shot. The zoom of the camera is fantastic with 100x since you can easily take pictures of the moon with a little extra stability.

  Even 2 years later the device is one of the best. Amazing screen, powerful stereo sound, very satisfactory photo. 3x and 10x really take good photos. It has all the perks of an ultra, add the pen, and you have a tool in your hands. A typical user will be satisfied and more. Battery after 22 months of use its actual capacity instead of 5000mb dropped to 4895mb. Which in essence the difference is small. The device thanks to the software options has so many settings for the battery that you will hardly run out of power during the day.
  I think Samsung from the S22 ultra and beyond, has really made a big upgrade. Especially for the money you can find it used today (400 to 480) for someone who wants a real flagship in their hands, it is the only way.

  Well, let's start with the positives:
  Screen with good colors and excellent scrolling at 120Hz
  Never lagged, contrary to what other users have written
  Camera is quite good, I would expect more
  Build quality is excellent, no issues after almost 1.5 years of use
  Charges very quickly with the 45W charger

  Now let's move on to the negatives:
  It is the model with the Samsung processor (Exynos). The battery barely lasted me a day, always needed charging at night
  Night shots are not particularly good, I would expect more
  Average sound (in volume) from the speakers
  Expensive accessories for screen protection (especially the glass)

  As for the software, Samsung's OneUI is quite good, it has improved compared to the past, but still has pre-installed apps that are either unnecessary or have the same function as Google's apps.
  What I would like is:
  for the gesture function to be fully customizable and
  to be able to install third-party icon packs, apart from Samsung's store.

  Well.. First of all, let me say that I have always been a Samsung fanboy and I had every phone they released since the S8.. Well, this phone was my last Samsung and Android phone.

  Positives:
  Takes nice photos
  Nice design

  Negatives:
  Battery is terrible
  Charging board burned out after 1.5 years
  Screen cracked from a 10 cm fall on an airplane carpet
  Freezes with Exynos full
  Overheating
  Average sound
  Stylus broke in two after 1.5 years of moderate use
  Samsung has one of the worst after-sales support.. They tell you to format it in order to fix a phone that won't charge.. Incompetent..

  Conclusion: Stay as far away as possible and if you don't want an iPhone, get something else and save your money

  After many years, I bought a Samsung again. Before, I was using a Xiaomi model, the Mia3, which was affordable. I decided to switch to a flagship model, even if it's a bit old. The positives are that the screen is very nice. I have become addicted to the stylus because I do a lot of work on my phone and it is very convenient in many cases. It also has a wireless controller. Additionally, it has the best zoom on a mobile phone from what I know. The negatives are that the battery doesn't last very long, which is understandable due to the large screen, but still. It has frozen on me three times and the screen went black, and I couldn't do anything for a while. It has also stopped rotating the screen even though I have it enabled, which is very annoying. I expected the night photos to be better, and I am not satisfied at all. I am generally involved in photography and have an opinion. The photos are blurry, it doesn't handle light well, and the quality is bad. There is a theory that after updates, Samsung cameras deteriorate because new models are released. I don't know if anyone has any opinions or if there is a solution, it would help me a lot.

  Owner here for 1 and a half years of the S22 ultra 128 mobile phone.
  I'll start with the positives, the phone doesn't lag at all, great screen, the S Pen is very good although I don't use it much.
  It is waterproof as promised.
  The zoom is very good.
  Negatives:
  The battery doesn't last at all, not even a day from the first moment without playing games.
  Had to buy a charger (clearly an Apple copy).
  Lack of memory card, the 128 is not enough even for photos.
  Curved screen (can't put a glass protector on it, so I've left it to fate).
  AND THE MOST IMPORTANT (my friends who have iPhones told me and I mocked them),
  as time passes, the camera quality deteriorates and there is no comparison between the photos it took before and the ones it takes now.
  Not to mention the front camera, which mobile phones worth 250 euros perform better. Better photo quality.
  Unfortunately, Samsung does everything to send us to Apple

  I come from the Huawei P40 Pro, a 2019 phone with a Leica camera, and I decided to switch to Samsung's flagship due to the Google issue with Huawei. I was extremely disappointed. The flagship of 2022 cannot be compared to the flagship of 2019. The only positive thing I could find about this phone is that if I didn't have anything else to compare it to, I might have liked it. But since I compared it to the P40 Pro (which the S22 should have easily surpassed and there should be no reason for comparison), I can only say negative things.

  Battery:
  Even with the screen set to simple HD resolution to save battery,
  using dark mode to reduce brightness,
  keeping the brightness permanently low,
  disabling all apps in the background,
  disabling all system sounds,
  and constantly using power-saving mode, the battery barely lasts a day with regular use and two SIM cards.

  Processor:
  It heats up excessively during video calls or when using certain apps,
  it freezes or crashes for no reason even with lightweight apps (I don't fully blame the phone, it might be an issue with the apps, but it's still not justified considering the capabilities of such a device).

  Camera:
  It is a disappointment for a flagship, especially considering the advertising they have done. They talk about the extraordinary zoom, which is indeed impressive, but when you take photos at maximum zoom, it is inferior compared to the P40 Pro, where I could zoom in and see the moon and its craters in detail. The image stabilization for both photos and videos is equally poor.

  UI (User Interface):
  I have many complaints to write about, but it would be unfair because this does not concern the device itself, but rather the technology and structure of the Android system of the respective company.

  In short, if I had the option for a Huawei phone with Google services, it would never cross my mind to buy a Samsung. I can't say that I regretted my decision because I didn't have any other choice, but I definitely felt a huge disappointment considering the price. If it cost around 600€ brand new (considering the current price range), I would say it's okay. But when you sell me a device for 1,300€ (2 monthly salaries) as a flagship, I expect it to be truly the best there is.

  First of all, I would like to inform you that my evaluation concerns the s22 ultra with the SNAPDRAGON 8GEN 1 processor, which I was lucky enough to find sealed on the Marketplace for €620. However, I am aware that I will not have a warranty as the device with this SOC is for the United States and is not covered.

  In short:
  The processor is tireless, it has never lagged, never overheated, and I truly see no reason for an upgrade.
  Camera: Excellent day and night, incredible zoom, video is very good but worse than the iPhone, which never misses a frame and is always buttery smooth.
  Battery: Easily lasts a day with 7-8 hours of screen-on time, I have never said "too bad" and I never have a charger with me. With the 25w charger I bought, it gets fully charged in less than an hour.
  UI: Very good, no lag, no complaints.
  Sound: Good, I would like a little more bass intensity.
  SPEN: Indifferent, I don't use it, but it can be a work tool for someone.

  In conclusion: Beautiful phone with a fantastic screen, which requires attention or an expensive tempered glass due to its curvature, performance and cameras very close to the s23 ultra, and practically the same phone in terms of construction.
  If you find it with Snapdragon, get it and you won't regret it!

  After a year of using this mobile phone, I have to say that I am completely disappointed with it. The battery, with full charge and moderate use, drops to 20% within six hours, while before it would last almost the whole day. After a diagnostic check at Samsung, they told me that the battery is fine, but for a phone worth 1,300 euros, a six-hour battery life is not acceptable at all. Additionally, the speaker is unacceptable as you can't hear anything with open listening on the street. Okay, it has a perfect camera, but what good is it when the battery doesn't last and the phone is worth so much? After 10 years and so many galaxies that have passed through my hands, this is the worst purchase I have made. Even though I am a super fan of Samsung, I think it's time to find something else and definitely not with so much money.

  I am very satisfied. I would also like the Snapdragon processor, but in this model, it is Exynos. From what I have read and seen in some comments, the device heats up a lot in July. To the point where it can stop charging. The only solution I found to avoid this is to put it in power saving mode when I am in a high-temperature environment. It is a bit slower, but it doesn't heat up. When I am in a space with air conditioning, there is no problem. The battery life is not long. But even in the S20 Ultra that I had, it was the same. For me, it shows that with my usage, one charge lasts for 10 hours. Anyway, it charges quickly with the appropriate charger. Not so fast with the wireless charger. Anyone who is satisfied with other brands and tries this phone, expecting it to be better in every aspect than what they had, will probably be disappointed judging by the comments some people write. Mine developed a screen issue after a few months. I would plug it in to charge and the screen wouldn't turn black, but let's say gray. I took it to Samsung and they replaced the screen and battery. From then on, it has been reliable. I also have the S20 Ultra and it works fine, and I still have the S8 Plus. I also had the S9 Plus, an amazing phone. Finally, I would like to add that the cameras are amazing, the zoom is crazy, night shots and videos are very good, the screen is also amazing, and the sound is very good. It plays music loudly in high quality when you have music of such quality, not listening with Spotify but with Deezer or TIDAL, which have HR sound, or Roon for the more knowledgeable users.

  I had made a switch from Android to iOS (11 pro max), but its capacity (64) made me want a change, as well as its closed operating system, despite its many years of use.
  My purchase was very good, in my opinion, as I found a sealed 128GB S22 Ultra with Snapdragon for $620 (American version), which is clearly superior to the Exynos.
  Regarding the device itself:
  The screen is flawless and vibrant with amazing colors at 120Hz.
  The only downside might be the edge, as there are no screen protectors available, except for some that cost around $40-50, which you need to be a nuclear scientist to apply correctly.
  The speed is impeccable in all aspects, with only occasional minor glitches in the operating system.
  The camera is very good, with vibrant colors and excellent zoom capabilities.
  As for videos, coming from an iPhone, I would have preferred more stability and fewer interruptions, considering it is a flagship device of 2022, but it is by no means bad.
  The battery easily lasts a day, and by night I am at around 20%, without worrying about its health or the software draining it.
  The sound is good, but it lacks bass and doesn't feel as full.
  In conclusion, I consider it a fair purchase for $600-650, if it is used or if you find something similar like mine, but definitely not more, as you should go for the S23 Ultra in that case!
  From my perspective, this phone confidently does everything and does it right!

  I have had the phone since April 2022 and I have no problem with it. I remove one star for the following reasons related to the company's policy.
  1) I find it unacceptable for Samsung not to offer in the packaging of its flagship device, the expensive screen protector, silicone case, and fast charger, which are included in mobile phone packages at 1/5 of the value of the S22 Ultra. So, under the pretext of ecology, you pay more, with all that implies in packaging, vehicle emissions until they bring them to your home, etc. Your conclusions about the company's "sensitivities" to the environment.
  2) Equally unacceptable, I consider the removal of the memory card which, in combination with the great need for memory capacity due to the large size of photos and videos, forces you to buy the version with large capacity. With such cameras, 128gb memory is minimal, in my opinion, and 256gb is borderline, 512gb is the right choice. The worst of all is that the device, apart from the e-sim, also has the ability for dual sim card, so it could allocate the space of one sim for the use of a memory card. Your conclusions about the company's "sensitivities" to its customers.
  3) Lower resale value compared to the iPhone, where in combination with the above, they force you to dig even deeper into your pocket.

  Owner of the S22 ultra 512GB for six months now, I can say that my experience is the best. It is fast and does not lag at all during multitasking, which happens many times throughout the day.
  The screen is flawless in both colors and functionality, and the automatic brightness adjustment is a plus, as it adjusts itself according to the actual environment needs, not just approximately.
  The speakers are very loud and clear, even surpassing those of an iPhone owner.
  The stylus is a powerful tool that gives you the freedom to perform various tasks.
  As for the cameras, they speak for themselves. Whether you know how to use them correctly or not, you have a professional camera in your hands...although one downside is the reduced clarity in night shots. However, it has so many functions and capabilities that I haven't discovered them all yet.
  On the negative side, the battery life is not great. It can go from 1% to 100% in about 1 hour and 10 minutes, but with heavy usage, it will need to be charged around 8 PM. With moderate to minimal usage, it can last the whole day and maybe even until the next morning. A significant factor is if you play games, as they quickly drain the battery.
  In summary, I believe it is worth its price, but not for more than €1100

  In reality, it's the Note 22 ultra. I've been using it for a year now and I have absolutely no complaints. The screen, speed, camera, and build quality are all highly satisfactory. The s pen (a huge asset) is something you realize you can't do without once you start using it, unless you don't have the desire to learn how to use it, in which case you're missing out on a lot. The battery life is satisfactory for my needs.

  My daily use includes a lot of music (hours...), connected to a Bluetooth speaker, plenty of browsing, connected to a smartwatch, calls (since it's also a phone), maps, Samsung notes, and drawing with the magical pen, Samsung health, not much social media (I'll leave that to you), plenty of use of the stopwatch and timer, and a little bit (but not every day) of gaming. So the screen on time is respectable. These are the basics of my usage, plus some other things that aren't always daily, and my battery at the end of the day is anywhere from 30 at best to 15 at worst. (Start of the day for the phone is 7:00 and end is 22:00-24:00).

  A year later, I'm writing much more calmly because at first, the overall impression was overwhelming. (I don't change devices every six months or every year. I use it quite a bit - let's say it pays for itself - which probably leaves most people indifferent.)

  Once again, the battery disappoints:
  I have the screen set to fhd+ resolution, with 2 Bluetooth devices connected (watch, headphones), and the battery often doesn't last the day.
  Usage: browsing, some camera use, social media, a bit of music, and NO high-demand games...
  Recently, on a trip abroad where I had data constantly on and was using Google Maps, the battery needed charging in the afternoon.

  I gave my wife the A53 and I wonder why I spent 700 euros more for the S22ultra. Besides the numbers, lenses, and MP, the 53 takes better photos. Is it possible now? Even in low light environments. It's really frustrating. If someone doesn't use the pen, there's no reason to spend triple the money. The camera for the money you give is simply TRAGIC.

  Let me start with the positives.
  I have a beautiful white phone that is fast and has never frozen on me. The battery lasts for 2 days with normal use (the S22 Ultra would only last 1 day with the same usage). The screen is amazing and the speakers are better than the S22 Ultra. As for the S Pen, those who use it know how great it is. Overall, it's better than previous Samsung flagship phones.

  Negatives.
  The camera is simply terrible. I'm waiting for an upgrade to have a complete opinion on the cameras. For now, when you take a photo, the phone automatically edits it and burns it. The colors become too intense as if the phone is increasing the saturation on its own. It's TRAGIC and UNACCEPTABLE.

  As a fan of the Note series, I will try to be as objective as possible with the phone.
  It's imposing, with a screen close to 7 inches. Personally, I feel it's large in my hand and somewhat awkward with its not-so-rounded corners.
  Of course, the design philosophy is based on the Note series and helps with the pen's function/use. You just forget it because it doesn't have the "note" title anywhere.
  So the screen may be the heaviest card of the device. Everything is embarrassingly clear. Icons, colors, fonts. Videos more vivid than ever. I really don't get bored with it, guys. The scrolling rate at 120hz-when activated-gives a false sense that the phone is "running" faster because due to the refresh rate, everything appears to move more smoothly.
  The pen.. This pen. A chapter on its own. Useless for some. Swiss army knife for others. Personally, I don't use it every day. I'm not that much of a business man, but when I do use it, I remember why I love this phone so much. For someone who hasn't worked with an spen, it's enough to say that with the pen, you can do things that you can't do on any other phone. Imagine unlocking a hidden menu on your phone.
  The battery. The first Samsung phone I've had and can't complain about. Personally, I easily get through a day. Based on what I've read and heard, I'm impressed that it lasts so long. Of course, it may be because the phone that replaced the S22 had a battery issue and I had to charge it every 4 hours. I also added a 45w super fast charger and I'm golden. Based on research or various charging times with the old conventional one, it's negligible, but even if you save 10 minutes, it's a plus.
  I don't have an opinion on processor performance as I don't use the phone for games or heavy applications. In multitasking, however, it has always come through for me.
  Camera. Personally, I think the cameras don't represent the rest of the image I've described. They're not bad in any way. They're just not the top phone in this category. In my opinion, it competes fairly with the iPhone, but it loses. Except for the selfie cam, which theoretically and practically has more power in the S22. Depending on the settings and lighting conditions, the quality of the shots is affected quite a bit and for someone who's too lazy to work the pro mode (me), some shots may disappoint.
  Closing with the bittersweet taste from the camera, I justify the 4-star rating I give for the device. Personally, I don't think it's worth the trouble at 900-1000€. It's generally a lot of money for a device, a flagship of a giant company, which has imperfections. For me, the phone was bought second-hand. Around 700€ with one month of use from the previous owner. If I rate it at this price, it will easily get 5+ stars.

  Hello and happy new year. I have had the mobile phone in my possession for about 1 month, the 12/256 version, and I believe that I have reached a good level of usage, over 95%, and I can now give a good review with positives and negatives. I will analyze as much as I can because the phone is so full of features, it is such an interesting device that I want more than 5 pages, so I will definitely forget something.

  I should mention that the phone runs the latest version of Samsung's skin and Android 13.

  Positives:
  1. Display - We are talking about a Super Amoled 2X display at 6.82 inches with a refresh rate of 1-120Hz. It should be noted that it runs at 10-120Hz by default, below 10Hz you will only see it in Power save mode. Very good colors, realistic as needed, very bright under the sun, you will see the 1750 nits when the phone deems it necessary, always in automatic mode, but you can manually adjust it through the settings. In my opinion, you will rarely need it, you won't have any problems, very good automatic brightness sensor. The fingerprint sensor works flawlessly and very quickly.
  2. Speed - The Exynos 2200 is a very powerful processor that doesn't lag anywhere, it did everything I asked of the device immediately and quickly. The temperatures I saw in gaming and a little rendering did not exceed 43 degrees with a room temperature of 21.5, which is very good, I believe. Now I noticed something after many tests, in general, the CPU seems to be set to operate at 50-70%, but you can easily change that with a simple button in the settings. However, I think it's not necessary. Samsung wants to keep it as cool and less power-hungry as possible, so it throttles it, but it will give you its maximum power when you really need it. The Samsung UI has an almost perfect optimization, I don't think you will have any problems, the device has nothing to do with the first months of release, everything runs smoothly, there are no lags or delays, everything happens instantly, and you won't have any problems in gaming. Also, the AI, after a few days of learning how you handle the phone, will give you a big boost in the user experience, in terms of speed and the way it works, it will suggest things based on you, purely, and yet it works, it's not a gimmick.
  3. Cameras - Overall, a very good camera system for all conditions. Clear photos with nice bright colors. In low light conditions, it is at a good level, I have no complaints, but it could definitely be better, however, the video is very good and stable. But if you want to take a step forward and see the real capabilities of the phone in photography, I would recommend learning how to use the Pro mode.
  4. Calls - S Pen - I have no problem with calls, the earpiece is very loud and clear, and my callers hear me just as well. Now, the S Pen, guys, is a tool that if you learn how to use it, it will really help you, I need 2 pages to tell you everything. Day by day, you will learn something new. It has a very good response, a very nice scrolling sensation on the screen, Bluetooth functions, and gestures.
  5. Build quality - I don't need to say much, Gorilla Glass Victus+ armor aluminum, very good coating, very nice feel in the hand, sturdy device, but it slips a little.

  Negatives:
  1. Main speakers - They are stereo with Dolby Atmos support, have good sound quality and volume, but I would definitely like them to be 2 clicks louder and they definitely lack bass due to volume. They could definitely have better bass.
  2. Battery-charging - It will last you 1 day with moderate use, as long as the AI learns how to work with your phone, you will see significant improvement. However, regardless of that, with heavy use like mine, it lasts around 5-6 hours of screen time and around 7-8 hours with moderate use. If you push it throughout the day, you will need a half-hour charge, otherwise it can last you 5-8 hours until the next charge. Okay, it's not perfect, but considering what this phone is capable of, the screen size, resolution, and having everything open like I do, it's expected to have a slightly higher power consumption. However, it gets the job done for me. Now, as for charging, 45W is not low, but it's not high either. It takes about 1.5 hours to charge from 15% to 100%. Just keep in mind that I noticed and checked that when the phone has an internal temperature above 35 degrees, the charging speed drops below 25W to around 15-18W. Once it goes below 35, it goes back to 45W. This is another safety measure for overheating. I understand that they got scared after the Note 7, but I think it's a bit excessive. Finally, you are given many battery settings, so you might see better numbers than mine.
  3. Signal - In the first few days, I missed some calls, but now I have no issues. However, the Wi-Fi signal is slightly worse than my previous phone, and I have no problems with 4G. I don't use 5G as it drains the battery for no reason, and it has the same or worse speed in my area compared to 4G+.

  Overall, we are dealing with a very good, capable, and high-quality device. Guys, it's a multitasking monster, essentially a Note, a very special phone with endless possibilities, a pocket computer literally that can also make calls. So, is it worth it? I would say at the 1200 euros I paid from an official store, it's borderline no, but on the other hand, we're talking about a phone that as a unit costs over 550 euros to manufacture, considering the research and development, the very good Samsung UI, the support for 4 years, the marketing, etc. Basically, what it offers as a device that you won't find elsewhere, that's where the price comes from. I would say if you don't need what the device offers or if you're not a tech enthusiast, don't spend your money on it. If you want a flagship Samsung phone, go for the S22 Ultra or the still very good S21 Ultra. That's all from me, I hope I helped.
