It has good build quality. Its size is medium. Sometimes it loses connection with the MacBook and disconnects. If I place it on a table, it doesn't lose connection if I don't move it. Its main drawback is that it doesn't reach the advertised speed at all. It works at 10Gbps instead of the advertised 20Gbps. Given this, it is an expensive case for what it offers.
I am using it with M2 gen 3x4 with speeds of 3500MB/sec and 3000MB/sec for read and write. I will try it with a faster one and update my review.
**Update 11/14/2024**: I am updating my review and informing that even with a brand new WD 850X 2TB, the speeds did not improve. It reaches speeds of 10Gbps on a Macbook M3 pro. Just below 1000MB/sec. I'm not saying they are bad, but I paid for the case for the advertised 20Gbps speeds... In a Windows environment and with a USB 3.2 gen 2x2 port, which supports 20Gbps, the speed is slightly better, as shown in the photos, but it never reaches 20Gbps.
My rating will not change because I am not dissatisfied, as it is a very high-quality case that cools the SSD very well. On the other hand, I am not fully satisfied either, as I bought it and paid almost double the price because I expected 20Gbps speed. Maybe it reaches higher speeds on Windows machines. I don't know, but in my case, it always had lower speeds than advertised.
**Update 2 15/04/2024**: I just formatted it to exFAT and it reached 20Gbps on both Windows and MacOS. In APFS, it reaches 10Gbps... What can I say?.. I am changing my review to 4 stars.
