Your camera detects when you are in the dark, and the 23% larger pixel sensor takes action (compared to the Samsung Galaxy S21). The pixels group together and transform into a larger pixel, allowing more light to pass through for brighter photos. Low noise processing is then activated for sharper results. The camera glass reduces lens flare from lights in the dark by up to 98%.
Capture portraits in low light and selfies thanks to the upgrades in the Rear Camera and Selfie Camera. Each captures more light for vibrant color and detail — so you can become an expert in low-light Portrait mode.
The professional-level camera records steady, blur-free videos that remain smooth even if you're on the move. The OIS correction angle has been improved by 58% (compared to the Samsung Galaxy S21) and works with faster motion sampling to stabilize your shots.
Adaptive Pixel intelligently switches between the high-resolution 50 MP mode and the high-sensitivity 12 MP mode depending on the lighting. It can also use both modes simultaneously and quickly merge the frames for bright, sharp photos effortlessly.
The Infinity-O 120Hz screens are made with Dynamic AMOLED 2X with Vision Booster technology for high visibility outdoors, resulting in clear displays in daylight or at night.

Rarely do I give a negative review for a product, but in this case it is necessary. As a Samsung owner for 17 years, this is the worst Galaxy that has been released. The battery barely lasts 8 hours with usage for calls, Viber-type applications, and a little Google Chrome. The camera, according to its specifications, is completely unacceptable. But worst of all is the speed at which it overheats, and when I say overheats, I mean to the point where you can't even touch it. Just before writing this review, I was talking on the phone outdoors and it overheated so much from the sunlight that it went into standby mode due to overheating. I believe that spending 1000 euros on a mobile phone and not being able to make a call outdoors in 35-degree weather is unacceptable. I will seriously consider whether to stay with Samsung.
Owner of this phone for 4 months. I have the 128 version since I don't need more space. Everything was fine at first, coming from a Redmi Note 11, I saw a huge difference in the screen, performance, and the amazing camera of Samsung, and generally superior... but the battery... the battery, guys, is the worst thing I have ever seen in my life, honestly... it's not possible for a phone that costs almost 1000 euros, almost two salaries, to not last even a day! Unacceptable, at least!!!!! It may be great overall, but what's the point if it can't even last half a day... Obviously, I would NOT recommend it to anyone, since its price is already relatively high and you can find something similar with a much better battery and performance... Overall disappointment with Samsung... we were talking about Apple, but we are far worse off, even though Apple's battery will be permanently like that, Samsung, after 4 months, after the latest update, the battery barely lasts 6 hours in total
Exynos is the real problem here, not the battery. Adjustments can be made in order to preserve battery life. Exynos has no counter,it's just bad for a phone bought at 1000 euros. Big NO.
In its positives are the very good screen, speed, and very good cameras. But the battery is terrible! It doesn't last the day. Coming from an iPhone XR model from 2018, it has better battery life than the s22+. I only gave it up for the battery and got an iPhone 13. If battery life doesn't interest you, then it's a very good choice.
Very good in everything..with room for improvement in the next updates....the battery is improved and the processor makes the device fast with strong performance....
Very good in everything. The battery could be a little better, but still it will easily last you the day with regular use... not with heavy use though...
Excellent device without any problems....camera and screen are exceptional...it could have better battery life and slightly stronger sound, although the quality is very good...
It was purchased to replace an S10+ (an incredible mobile phone) that had a broken screen, etc. Good mobile phone. It takes good but not top photos, without surpassing the S10+ by much and definitely behind the S22 ultra, Pixel, etc. Fast for sure. The screen is very good as always with Galaxy S. The battery should last longer. Ultimately, the quality-price ratio is average (purchased for 825 euros). For the same money, the Pixel is probably better if the issues with Greek providers are resolved.
I had this specific phone and I changed it! Its battery was terrible, I was constantly using the charger and a power bank, even though the phone was new. The signal was awful (calls were dropping, etc., while it doesn't happen with another phone). The cameras were okay, but I don't consider them top-notch! I used to get the S series from Samsung for years, but I think this particular model is awful, it made me switch from Android to iOS. I have an iPhone now and I'm saved! And of course, it shouldn't cost so much under any circumstances.
Very good device.
One click above the S21fe.
Very good photos and videos.
Very good build quality.
Very good signal.
An all-around very good mobile.
It's not worth 800€ to buy it.
If you find it for 500-600€, it's definitely worth it.
The battery is good, but it could be better.
Disable the always-on display for better battery life.
edit:
After the updates of the last month 01 and 02/2023, the battery is really good.
VFM at 600€ if you find it.
I recommend it.

An excellent phone with a flat screen, as most of us prefer! The 120 Hz screen elevates the phone... excellent sound, camera, battery, the only downside is the Exynos!
The battery drains without much use!! And I've only had it for 2 days... which means I have to constantly charge it, I don't know how good this is for the battery and how long this phone will last!
Also, one of the negatives is that it freezes a lot when playing games (via internet) and generally with the signal. Money wasted!! It's not worth it!
And I wonder why I switched to Samsung when I was satisfied with Huawei.
A piece of advice to everyone, always check reviews from now on! It helps a lot in not wasting your money, and I'm not talking about one or two bad comments, but when you see enough, obviously not everyone is conspiring together! DON'T GET IT, IT'S A WASTE OF MONEY!!
* On the positive side, the sound is very loud and the photos are satisfactory.
The phone hasn't made a call in less than a week and it has two major negatives.
With the mAh that its battery has, it barely lasts a day with regular use of the phone. You need to have a power bank in hand...
The sensor with the glass even delays in response when changing fingerprints.
Overall, as a phone, it blows but it's overpriced.
I bought the phone about three weeks ago and it looks very nice, but that's about it. I am very disappointed from the second week onwards and it has already crashed. The battery has been terrible since the first day, it needs to be charged twice a day, it is definitely not worth the money.
Holder of version 8/256..............very fast, very smooth....no lag, no overheating...I don't play games....awesome screen....the battery lasts for many hours with browsing, social media, calls, and tinkering with settings....after 11 hours of usage from 88%, the battery still had 25% left....I was used to the fingerprint sensor on the sides, so having it on the screen bothered me several times on the first day....but now it's okay....face unlock works perfectly....
Predecessor of S7 and S10. Overall, very good, it doesn't lag and the screen refresh rate at 120Hz makes a big difference compared to the S10. The battery easily lasts a day with moderate use, mainly for calls and emails.
The biggest problem I encountered is that it definitely needs a screen protector. Neither the S7 nor the S10 ever had a screen protector and had minimal scratches after 3 years of use each. The S22+ is full of scratches in less than 2 months.
(S22+) I'm coming back after 3 months from the purchase for a comment as the screen displayed these black spots (and no, it doesn't have a protective film). Good news: it's covered by Samsung's warranty and the replacement is done relatively quickly (within a few business days). Overall, it's a pretty good phone, but with a bad battery and a very good camera. Definitely, definitely not worth the 900€++ I spent...
I have the device here for a few days now..no problem with smooth operation in everything...with the updates the device is constantly improving..The battery will easily last a day with normal use..I believe with the next updates it will reach even better levels because we are talking about a flagship and an expensive phone...in general, a beautiful and powerful device. Excellent photos day and night without saturation, very good video. Fast response, very good call quality. The selfie camera is decent but nothing special. Fast in speed and size, which is ideal...
A valuable device that improves both camera performance and battery life over time. I believe that soon the drawbacks will be minimal and it certainly won't remind us of the negatives it had when it was released... I have had it for 2 and a half months and I am satisfied, especially with the updates, the device keeps getting better... perfect size, very good cameras day and night
Excellent mobile phone, I do not regret buying it. I am very satisfied with the battery, even though the only comparison I had was the s10e, which was not known for its battery. The screen is amazing, the 120hz make the whole experience very smooth and personally, I think the resolution is just right, as if it was 1440p 120hz, the battery life would be significantly affected without any significant improvement. The cameras are satisfactory, although I haven't used them enough yet to form a complete opinion. Overall, I am very satisfied and highly recommend it, and I believe it is the best or one of the best devices one can buy at the moment.
Really the 2 stars are only because I don't want to bury it completely. I'm sorry because the user experience was simply unacceptable. It's a shame for the money and it's unfortunate that I didn't listen to the comments I read here. I'm almost certain that the new Exynos 2200 is responsible for this incredibly awkward moment of trying to figure out if you're doing something wrong or if it's the device's fault... A quick internet search unfortunately confirmed that I'm not the only one. Also, the operating system... It feels like it wasn't ready and they said "let's release it as it is to finish it". I've been an Android user since 2011 and I haven't encountered this (overall) mess before. Samsung, in about three years we'll see again.
After 1 and a half years, I have revised quite a bit about this specific device. The battery is normal, easily lasting half a day with full use, borderline one day with moderate to no use. The camera started off quite strong but now it pixelates in certain videos and the photos, especially at night, are the worst. The other day, I had a video call for 20 minutes and my device suddenly shut down twice. Obviously, it overheated for no apparent reason. Overall, it's a mediocre device, not worth spending a lot of money on.
I have had the phone since the end of May, it has a wonderful camera, very good speaker, very sturdy build quality, amazing operating system with many functions, screen for touch, many options for cases, satisfactory charging speed. Now, as for the battery, the battery will simply last the day if you don't use it heavily and don't have many apps running. Never again with Exynos... As for games, the only thing that bothered me about this device, hence the 4 stars, is that in games that support 120 Hz, the phone will heat up in 10 minutes, but it continues without any lag.
Tragic device compared to its cost!!! Terrible battery with knowledge on the subject and it's not enough... the battery drains without any running applications in the background, etc... very bad choice for many reasons...
