At first, you really like it as it is a cooperative game that you can play with young children (around 5-6 years old depending on their intelligence). It has nice cards with a lot of imagination. Once you understand it, you easily get bored. It's hard to play it 10 times in a row. It reminds me of Pandemic but it is inferior. You don't get bored of Pandemic so easily. When you play with new people, basically the one who knows it tells the others what to do, which is true in general for games of this kind. I think it is a good start for children to get into the logic of cooperation. For educational reasons (children) and the development of social skills, I would give it a 5/5. For me, it is quite mediocre.
Fast, as simple as it is fun, with varying difficulty levels for both new and experienced players. We play as a family, with 2 young ones, aged 7 and 10. We often play a game as a warm-up before moving on to something heavier. I highly recommend it. A must-have for board game enthusiasts. I wish instead of pawns, there were regular figurines, to earn that 5th star as well.
Although it is of good quality, it has the main disadvantage of cooperative games: the one who knows it well because they have played it before, plays alone and the others just participate! So it quickly loses interest.
Pleasant, cooperative, and very smart game. You need to act quickly to escape and make as few moves as possible. Just understand and develop good teamwork. I highly recommend it!
I can't understand the overly enthusiastic comments about this game. It's quite mediocre and the only appealing aspect is its good price.
The gameplay mechanism is nothing special and the main issue is that being "cooperative," it only takes one player to know it well and guide the others to save the day. Overall, the gameplay lacks depth, I would say.
As for the edition, it is indeed very good, like most - if not all! - of Kai'ssa's products. With quality pieces and a nice metal box.
I would possibly recommend it only for very young players.
Pleasant game that perfectly achieves its goal: to learn how to cooperate. Relatively easy, even a child can understand the complementary way of collaboration depending on the characters chosen. Cooperation is easy in some cases because one character complements the other, while in other cases it is not because the characteristics of one are negated by those of the other. Overall, it's worth its money, you don't get bored and you have a pleasant time seeing different ways of thinking when you decide to break away from the highly standardized.
Excellent cooperative game. It reminds me a lot of Pandemic, but if you are familiar with it, it will feel easier and faster. Even so, it gives you the opportunity to adjust the difficulty to the level you want. Absolutely suitable for someone who wants to start with more complex board games with something simple. High-quality and beautiful cards, nice and durable box. It is definitely worth the money. Although I love Pandemic Cthulhu, I am very happy that I got this and have it in my collection!
Edit
If you have played the game many times and want to make it more difficult, you can search for different ways to set up the island that will make it even more interesting.
A tabletop game for beginners, beautiful and with simple rules, but most importantly, it doesn't have a prohibitive price. It's worth it!
Very nice cooperative board game, it is fun, adventurous, and has enough suspense to see if you can escape with the Treasures unharmed. Positive that it also changes the difficulty level.
Perhaps the most played game in my collection. Quick setup, easy rules, cooperative gameplay, and the most suitable game for any beginner in board games. When I'm with a group that doesn't play board games, this is usually the game they ask me to play. Some have bought it themselves and others have started playing more board games. It's worth the money and more, and I recommend it to everyone without hesitation. The only negative is that after continuous playing for 2 years, it starts to become boring, which is normal after over 100 games. However, the new island shapes that you can find online will renew your appetite and add new challenges.
Interesting cooperative game where all players play against the game's mechanisms. It has some suspense if you "get into" the roles and the theme, high quality in materials, ideal if you haven't played a cooperative game before
Original game, with a different evolution every time. The pawns are simple. They could be more related to the roles besides the color. Nice packaging and worth its money.
What I liked: The design, the collaboration, the simplicity, the completion time, the overall concept, the construction quality.
What I didn't like: the inability to choose roles with a penalty (e.g. fewer treasure cards), the figures of the explorers resembling their roles.
