After having an issue with my knee meniscus, I tried to do leg strengthening exercises (I saw a difference). I learned about them from my wife's aunt who used to take them by the handful (for knee pain, arthritis, etc.), but one day she brought me the boxes and gave them to me, saying, "Take them, they do nothing for me." I took them for the three herniated discs and knee arthroscopies I have, a serious problem in the middle that can only be temporarily solved with anti-inflammatory drugs after surgery, minimal problem in the knees. After months of taking them and starting with one a day, I reached three, resulting in stomach problems and general discomfort. Of course, I stopped taking them and as for their effectiveness, it is not even worth discussing, as it is zero to harmful. After my research and attempts to find serious indications and valid studies, I found nowhere that certifies that they actually offer something, like at least other supplements where you can have tests before and after to see if they work or not. The only thing mentioned is that glucosamine and chondroitin, etc., are produced by the body and are not absorbed by the stomach...!!!!
