I have been using this machine for 8-9 months and it is the worst thing I have ever bought. It leaves gaps and requires several repetitions to achieve satisfactory results. What a waste of money.

If you are used to dry shaving with rotary heads and know how to do it correctly, then Philips has made a significant advancement with this model compared to older ones I had (before 2008). It is sturdy but not heavy and made with quality materials. Quite gentle on the skin, and at the beginning when you first start after using a razor, I would suggest lightly wetting the skin (just water and not soap). Of course, those who already know how to handle rotary heads know that they work amazingly only on very short hair. So if it has grown too long, trim it first with a clipper and then shave with the razor. You will also find an unboxing video on my account

Very good shaver. I come from the Philips 1333, this one shaves better three-day beards with fewer repetitions, deeper than the 1333 and of course without irritations. One detail... it doesn't work while charging like it did with the 1333.
