The best thing someone can find for professional and amateur use, the experience because I wanted a machine that does not heat up easily because the one I have gets very hot after a while and sometimes it can bother you, but no matter what, as soon as I experienced this, I understood what a professional machine means, very powerful for its rotations, because it is low noise, so it is logical to have fewer rotations but that is not a problem at all, and the best thing is that it is convenient, you can easily do any haircut you want quickly and correctly, and with its technology, you should use it continuously for hours, there is no chance that it will stop even for a little while, so there is no chance for it to heat up, and as for the battery, there is no better one at this price, get it with closed eyes!!
Very good machine worth the money, it's silent and doesn't bother the ear, quite lightweight machine, slightly better than the magic clip in my opinion, the teeth make it easier for a no guard fade. As for the battery, I have no words, it's a beast. It doesn't heat up easily and overall it's perfect for a professional.
Powerful, quiet, and doesn't heat up at all. It's not lighter than the magic that most people say. They have roughly the same weight. The battery monster never runs out. Its shape is indeed a bit strange, but it's all a matter of getting used to it. Overall, it fades very smoothly and doesn't leave easy lines. On the negative side, I will add that it doesn't come with a fade blade, which makes it a bit difficult to fade. Also, with the standard clipper that comes with it, it's very difficult to do flick out haircuts, which is why I give it 4 stars. I recommend getting it and immediately changing the clipper to a fade one and only using Wahl Premium guards, which are fantastic! Other than that, the machine is amazing and doesn't understand anything!
The positives are:
· The cool blade technology that actually keeps the clipper cool for as long as the machine is running.
· The long length of the teeth on the clipper that can greatly facilitate a fast fade technique.
· The quiet motor, which is also quite important.
· The battery duration indicator.
· Lastly, I would like to mention that the machine operates at the same speed even when there are only 2 minutes left before it shuts off.
The negatives (compared to the Wahl models mentioned below):
· There is no curve to "lock" the machine in your hands while working, creating the feeling that it might slip away if you work at a fast pace. This can easily be solved with a rubber ring if it doesn't bother you aesthetically.
· The machine comes with standard blades, as the company calls them, and if you want to do a skin fade, you will need to purchase the fade blades, which cost about 30€ and help to fade base lines very close to zero.
In a few words:
· A tool that can provide you with many hours of work without any worries about the battery or heat on the clipper.
· It is cost-effective.
· For technical work like taper fade, no guard, flick out, etc., it does not impress compared to the feeling that the magic clip gives you. Given that a skilled technician will achieve the desired result regardless of the machine, the details I mention are more about the time it will take to achieve the final result.
· Compared to the classic Wahl models (senior & magic clip), there are various features that make it easier for long hours of work.
· I would not recommend it as the only machine in your toolkit, but I consider it an essential tool for those who work many hours.
If you want a product that is worth every last euro, there is no other choice. WITH CLOSED EYES. Lightweight, powerful, quiet, effective. Professional product.
One of the best machines on the market. Very few competitors.
Very well-made model. Even the packaging is of excellent quality.
Technical Specifications:
· Voltage - 100-240V, 50/60Hz
· Power - 6.5W
· Charging Time - 3 Hours
· Usage Time - 4 Hours
· Lithium Ion Battery
· Motor Type - Rotary
· Speed - 6000 / 7200 rpm
· Weight - 292g without cord
· Blade Adjustment - 0.5 to 3.5mm (Can be adjusted)
The package includes:
· The machine itself in a very sturdy position.
· 10 plastic guards (½#, 1#, 1 ½#, 2#, 3#, 4#, 5#, 6#, 7#, 8#).
· Small screwdriver.
· Small brush for hair.
· Container with special oil.
· Charger.
· Blade protector.
· And Zero Gap tool (there is also a tutorial on YouTube by the company).
Positives:
· Very good construction and nice weight distribution (weighs about the same as a Magic Clip).
· Incredibly powerful motor. Cuts all types of hair without any issues.
· The blade hardly heats up at all (Cool Blade Technology with Stainless Steel stationary blade and Titanium moving blade).
· The lever has 5 positions and makes the characteristic "click" sound.
· The lever opens more than halfway (0.5 to 3.5mm which changes if a Fade Blade is used or zero gap is achieved).
· 2 speeds (6,000 & 7,200rpm).
· Possibly the quietest machine.
· 4 hours of continuous use with just 3 hours of charging.
· LED Display that tells you the remaining minutes, when it needs charging, and when it needs oiling.
· Illuminated JRL logo that turns red and blinks when it needs charging. It doesn't leave room for you to forget.
· Hook at the bottom in case you want to hang it.
Negatives:
· The Taper blade definitely doesn't help in erasing the last line in Skin Fades. JRL gives you the option to buy a separate Fade Blade for around €35. The truth is, I would have liked it to come with a Fade (Flat) blade from the beginning and maybe even have a Taper in the package (see Gamma+).
· The guards included in the package are plastic and personally didn't satisfy me. They are quite flexible compared to the Wahl Premium Guards (which I prefer and fit snugly). Some people like them and wouldn't change them for anything, but they didn't work for me.
In order to use it to its fullest, you basically need to buy the JRL Fade Blade (€35) and the Wahl Premium Guards (€35), so its actual price is around €150+€35+€35=€220.
In the end, it is essentially a Wahl Senior, just much more well-made and powerful with many features.
