I was looking for an iron for a long time but I didn't want to spend a fortune (I had to buy 2 pieces). The iron is excellent! Very strong steam, very lightweight, with two movements most of our clothes are ready. I highly recommend it.
The iron as a construction is very sturdy, it has very good steam and irons the clothes perfectly fine. However, having the previous experience from a 10-year use of a Rowenta steam iron, I have the impression that the money that the Tefal iron costs does not correspond to what it offers.
It is by far the best and it does everything it says, but it is very expensive. I bought TEFAL again because I had the GV 7120 with 4.5 bar since 2009, with only one problem in the last year, a small current leakage that trips the circuit breaker (for those who have automatic current leakage detection in the panel). The technician cannot locate it because it is a very small leakage. It works fine on other panels without any problem. Additionally, there is wear on the ironing plate. I believe it is normal wear and tear for 13 years.
Excellent product worth every euro. It made ironing so much easier to the point where I threw away my old (plain) iron the same day! It is also made in France with impeccable construction quality and a guarantee that you will find cheap spare parts for the next 15 years. I have confirmed this with a friend who has had a Tefal since 2007 and last year he had a valve break, which cost him 13€!
New iron and it produces black marks at the beginning of each ironing (I have used it about 15 times).
EDIT: Finally, by using only demineralized water, it stopped producing black marks.
