Description
The VXT-2 is a closed cylindrical expansion tank suitable for connection only to the closed circuits of the solar water heater. At the bottom, it has a thread for connection with the solar water heater's tank, and at the top, it has a position for installing a safety valve.
Modern passive solar thermal systems develop high temperatures causing expansion and vaporization of their fluids. This creates an increase in pressure in both circuits of the device, resulting in the strain on the entire system.
Additionally, the network pressure along with the dynamic energy of the water causes hydraulic shocks to the device, which can lead to temporary or permanent damage.
