It started rusting from the batteries within one month. It needs to be kept away from water. Of course, I don't know who would place such a device far away just to use it and then return to wash their hands.

If you put your hand close to the eye but then lower your hand vertically, the further away from the eye, the less soap it will dispense! So you can control the amount directly without determining whether it will dispense a lot or a little. Excellent!
