This product is made from recycled materials and is part of adidas' commitment to end plastic waste. 20% of the upper parts are made with at least 50% recycled material.

It is an amazing shoe, even better than it appears in the photo, with a very nice fit on the foot. I recommend to women, when buying Adidas Superstar, not to get unisex ones because they have a different fit on the foot and most likely they will need a different size than what they usually wear when buying "women's" ones.

I wear a 39, initially ordered a 39 1/3, but they were too big due to the fact that the shoe is unisex and comes in a more comfortable fit. So, to avoid complications with returns and waiting for a new order, pay attention to their size guide.
Durability: I've only had them for a week, so only time will tell.
Safety: Here is the big downside of the shoe... it slips a lot and requires great caution on wet stairs!
