I was searching for a device for quite some time where I could have control over where my child is, but at the same time offer them a first sense of freedom. I chose the device because its app had good reviews. I followed the instructions which mentioned that the SIM should not have a PIN and I connected quite easily. We have been using it for about 2 weeks. The device gets location tracking via GPS and sends the location data through the network. IT DOES NOT LOCATE VIA THE SIM. It does not connect to WiFi, etc. As a result, in an enclosed space where it loses GPS, the location can appear to be kilometers away. THE DEVICE WORKS VERY WELL ONLY IN OUTDOOR SETTINGS! It has a tracking mode every 10 minutes, 1 minute, and a "boost" mode, where for 3 minutes it sends location data every 15 seconds. I have it set to the one-minute mode. This means that every minute, it gets the location from GPS and uploads the data using the SIM card to the app, where I can see where it is. I hope it is understandable that if the person wearing it is moving on a road, the location will not appear live, but one minute behind. The watch has a camera with a resolution like a mobile phone from the early 2000s. The 1.8 Megapixels are not for photos that will hold memories! However, it is quite useful that the parent can view a photo taken by the watch from the location. This way, for example, they can potentially understand where the watch's owner might be if there is no GPS signal. Finally, although the SIM I have is only for data, the watch has the option to store phone numbers and the ability to call only certain numbers. The owner cannot call anyone or anyone can call the owner. Overall, it's not bad. I will definitely dare to find something better in the future that can provide location even in enclosed spaces, but for €50, I think it's at least an interesting option, mainly for outdoor use, which I would probably recommend.

You have to disable the SIM card pin. After that, the app is difficult to use. The location is always in a different place and even with a large distance in kilometers... not even in meters... There is an option to set the hours when the phone should not ring, for example, school hours.
There is an option to set mileage limits.
The child can take pictures on their own. And we can also take pictures from our phone whenever we want.
