  Two devices were purchased to be installed in existing infrastructure that already existed in the space.
  Relatively easy installation, you connect the two cables to the slot on the board that has an external button and follow the process outlined in the user manual.
  The included eye in the package works flawlessly so far, but I believe that it should be replaced with a more serious one at the first opportunity.

  The application has various options such as open-close, pin, remote access, scenes, etc. and works flawlessly.

  The controls, buttons after the installation of the device, and the pre-existing automations work normally.

  Now, regarding the use through Apple HomeKit:
  To open and close the garage through the Apple application, you must be connected to the same WiFi as the device.
  For example, if you are using mobile data, it does not recognize the device and marks it as incompatible.
  The only way to solve this specific problem is to create a home hub that will be located inside the house, permanently connected to WiFi, and then select remote access to smart home accessories.
  The devices that can be used as home hubs are Mac, Apple TV 3rd generation, HomePod, iPad.
  Unless you have upgraded your iPad to iOS 16 because Apple considered that with its new home architecture, it should not be compatible as a home hub.

  It works exceptionally well on the existing infrastructure (which is necessary). Two pins need to be connected to the existing board where a simple button would go. Essentially, it is a homekit smart button. There is also a cheaper version without homekit for those who do not need the Apple ecosystem.

  Finally, the magnetic sensor it has to detect if the garage is closed or open is made of plastic and requires a very small distance (during installation, my garage door pressed it and broke it). I replaced it with a metal magnetic heavy-duty sensor that is designed for garage doors.
