The HyperX Alloy Origins features HyperX Aqua mechanical switches with RGB lighting and is constructed from aluminum to remain stable and resistant to impacts. It has keyboard feet that allow you to choose from three different tilt levels and a detachable USB Type-C cable for easy mobility. Additionally, with the HyperX NGENUITY software, you can create macros and customize the lighting as you wish.

Perfect lighting (adjustable), excellent clarity, flawless design & finish (matte), extremely sturdy construction (aluminum). Highly recommended...
I have had it in my possession for a year and I can say that it is one of the best keyboards I have bought. It is very sturdy, and the keys have a great feel when typing. One small issue I have found is that one key (the "d" key) doesn't pop up as easily, which probably means something has fallen inside. Purchase price: around 90€
After 4 months of use, I was very satisfied until recently I started hearing the springs in the keyboard quite loudly. Apart from that, it is very sturdy and beautiful in terms of construction, with vibrant LEDs, no complaints. However, the sound of the springs is somewhat annoying...
Very good keyboard with very good build quality (aluminum!). There are plenty of color combinations without the software, which I did not try. Cleaning is a bit troublesome but it was expected.
I have been using it for about six months now and I am excited! Personally, I really like the feel of the aqua switches, but that's a matter of preference (these switches are tactile). They are not particularly noisy when pressed and have an immediate response. In my opinion, and considering that it is one of the cheaper high-end keyboards on the market, if you find it for 70-80 €, it is definitely worth it!
Extra tip: I have also added the pudding keycaps, which personally slightly reduced the quality of the feel (the original ones were a bit nicer to touch), but they do not collect grease from the fingers!
Good evening to everyone.
I bought the Hyper X alloy origins (Hyper X Aqua). I have had it for 4 months. Very good keyboard in all aspects. The only issue I encounter is that when I put the PC in sleep mode, there are several times now that after I press, for example, the space bar to enter Windows while the PC is being activated normally, the keyboard seems completely disconnected. None of the buttons work at all! I replaced it with a new one and still the same! Is there anyone else facing a similar issue? I have already done a reset and it didn't help at all.
UPDATE: In the end, I returned it to the store and got the STEEL SERIES APEX 7 and I am relieved...
100% The best value for money keyboard out there. Impeccable build quality. The Hyperx Aqua keys that I got are the smoothest tactile switches I have ever used. The lighting is simply amazing. The only negative is that the cable is on the right side of the keyboard, but that is just a preference. Other than that, it is definitely worth the money.
Well, the feeling of the keys is divine, very soft, they don't make much noise, they are heavy and don't move from their position while also responding instantly. The lights are very bright and the letters on the keys are visible even without the lights being turned on.
The evaluation concerns the keyboard with tactile aqua switches with a purchase price of 89 euros. Amazing build quality, awesome lighting, incredible typing feel. In gaming, at first it seemed strange to me because it has a smaller surface area on the keys compared to most keyboards, but I got used to it immediately on the first day and now I see it as a very positive aspect because it doesn't leave room for pressing the wrong key and they probably wanted to achieve that, and they did! Okay, I will mention the build quality again because it is out of this world. I have never seen such a high-quality keyboard in any price category. If you have the money, I would tell you not to look elsewhere, you are here and buy it without a second thought, it's worth its money, and maybe even double!!!
I bought this with the aqua switches (tactile). AMAZING!!!
Very sturdy construction.
AWESOME typing feel (good for typing).
INCREDIBLE lighting.
Very good price.
I didn't find the software to be terrible like some people on YouTube mention. It's fine.
Impeccable in everything!
I have used many keyboards from Razer, Logitech, and HyperX, but this one is the best.
- Amazing build quality, all metal, relatively lightweight without easily moving on the desk.
- The HyperX switches have a very nice feel, even nicer than Cherry, Razer, and Romer G.
- Comes with a Type C cable.
- Extremely powerful backlighting, the first time I see such intensity on a keyboard.
- The software is not the best, but it gets the job done. You can save colors and macros on the keyboard, no need for it to be open.
- The only negative thing I found is regarding the backlighting. Because the housing of the switches is transparent, when you use colors like white, it shows from the inside and the switch appears red.
I also tried using PBT keycaps from Razer, they work perfectly fine without even needing stabilizers
Good construction, very good in its use, so far I have no complaints..!!
