  I had been using AirPods for a long time inside my helmet and I had no complaints except that it created pressure points on my skull during long use. So, as soon as I decided to get a communication system, my daily life changed completely. Hassle-free calls with very good quality for both, music very good and relatively loud to the point that I didn't turn it up above 40-50% (an important detail I quickly realized is that the helmet's speaker slots are not "compatible" with all heads, something I experimented with a bit to understand exactly where my ears fall in the helmet and to place them right in front of them, which changed my experience for the better since at first I was very disappointed with their volume and clarity.   I have had it for about 8 months now, excellent communication, you get what you pay for. I went on a full day trip and it never ran out of battery. The noise cancellation it has is impeccable, your interlocutor hears you only if you speak, even with an open visor, except for very rare cases.
  Very important matter, as a friend has bought a much cheaper one and his microphone can be heard throughout the conversation and the engine noise when accelerating, while the Cardo does an excellent job in this area. Another positive is that the device is relatively small in size.
  Also, from the application, you can fully adjust the sound of the device and connect to other devices from there if you do not want to learn the button combinations.
  The only negative thing I would say is that in some cases the range is not large enough, mainly in urban areas, but this may be reasonable due to obstacles. The good thing, of course, is that it has an automatic reconnection function, so if the connection is lost, the device constantly tries to reconnect to the device you were connected to without you having to do anything.
  I got the dual pack for 380 on Black Friday.

  I bought this specific Cardo system and not the Freecom 2X mainly because it offers voice control (e.g. Hey Cardo music off).
  From my experience, voice commands do not always work.
  My helmet is an AGV AX9.
  The application is excellent.
  Inside the box, there is also a set for installation with double-sided tape, so it is difficult to find a helmet that is not easy to install.
  The sound quality is amazing.
  The microphone quality is also good.
  The operation takes a little time to learn the buttons and use it without the application.
  The application allows you to do anything without needing to learn the buttons.

  I never had such a headset and as soon as I tried it, I said to myself what I was missing all these years. With my music either from the radio it has or from my phone. The sound is very clear (JBL speakers) and if you don't go above 200, you enjoy it at 100%. After 160, you have to turn it up quite a bit, if not all the way up, to hear it. Of course, it also depends on what helmet you have and what noise it lets through. Voice commands in English, which don't always work, but personally I don't have the correct pronunciation. If I say them as well as I can in pronunciation, it always picks up my command, whether to increase the volume or to answer a call.

  As for communication with the passenger, at 130 I struggled to hear what they were saying. Was it because of my helmet with the noise from the air? Was it because the microphone was not properly placed? Or was it that her helmet let in too much air? It's something you can improve though. By changing the position of the microphone, for example. When you listen to the radio and talk to your passenger, the music automatically lowers when you speak or when they speak to you. If you go slower, communication with your passenger or with your group is perfect. No more muffled trips and rides.

  Battery is quite good. I've been using it for a week and it's at 40%. I listen to more music/GPS and very few calls.
