At 130 - 150 km/h and with very good wind coverage, I could hear music very clearly, whether from the radio or my own (from my mobile...).... and when the GPS gave directions, it automatically paused the music and after the command was completed, the music resumed...
oh... it also has a setting (which is done through the mobile app that you need to download), that when you move slowly, the volume of the music is low - very good for city driving - and as you move faster... the volume automatically increases... VERY SMART!!!

After a lot of searching, I ended up with this purchase and I am writing this review to give a complete personal experience to anyone struggling to choose.
It should be noted that:
- it is my first intercom
- I use it daily for a year in Athens
- I use it for trips within and outside of Greece, at least once a month
- one intercom is placed on an LS2 FULL FACE FF800 SPRINT helmet
- the other on a YOHE FLIP-UP helmetInitially, the intercom is the best investment one can make when traveling. There is no comparison between trips before and after the purchase, so I have not regretted a single euro out of the 400 I spent.
For use in Athens with the LS2 helmet and a naked motorcycle without a visor, the intensity is very strong, I never turn it up to the maximum, the sound is crystal clear up to 150kh. At higher speeds, I turn it up all the way and it sounds satisfactory. With 1-2 hours of driving per day, listening to music, I charge it every 5-6 days.
For use outside the city, on a trip with an adventure motorcycle and a tall visor, everything is perfect up to 180kh. After 180kh, the music is not clear and I have to shout for the passenger to hear me. With speech and music at full volume, the battery lasts 3-4 days with about 4-6 hours of driving per day.
Overall, I am 100% satisfied, I have never run out of battery, it charges quickly, when I talk on the phone no one has ever told me they can't hear me well, with another motorcycle at a distance of about 400 meters, the signal is lost, but when you get close again it reconnects automatically.

The basic phone communication function is immediate, with clear sound and as many others have described, the person you are talking to does not realize that you are speaking to them while moving at 140 kilometers per hour. With the radio, things are a bit more difficult, as depending on the helmet and the air flow, you may have difficulty hearing in certain cases/stations/areas. Always noisy on long distances. Where it slightly concerns is the battery life with relatively long periods of radio usage. Maximum 2.5 days with 3 hours of usage per day. I have not tried it as intercom with another person/rider. My choice was based on the reviews I read online, where this particular company has been very well-known for years! I should mention that before I got it, I was using AirPods... so it's like day and night.
It's a shame that I haven't gotten an intercom for all these years of driving! Let me mention some advantages for those who have never used an intercom before:
- Transparency (you can hear everything around you, but you can also hear your music)
- Super high-quality microphone where you can be heard even at higher speeds. I no longer have to shout "Can you hear me? COME ON!!!" and the quality is so good that many times people don't believe that I'm driving.
- You can easily answer calls without diverting your attention to a mobile phone that you have on a stand (now I ride with my phone in my pocket)
- The radio, no matter how crazy it may sound to you, works perfectly in Athens.
- Sound quality (the JBL speakers in this particular one are something else)
- Battery life in my usage (1 hour on the motorcycle every day), I charge it once every 10-15 days.
- If you have two helmets, you can get a kit for the second helmet and swap the main unit (where all your settings are stored, etc.)Invest in a good intercom and you will only benefit from it! You will not regret it in any case!

- It does not connect easily with the app or it constantly disconnects. It does not find the playlist from the app.
- It confuses the radio with the music, meaning that with a double click it can go into the radio.
- You hear louder from one side, so it feels like you are hearing mono and it has interference at medium volume.
- I had not managed to connect it with another company until recently after the upgrade, but still under ideal conditions, like at home, it had a lot of interference.
As for the positives, I can only say that it has an easy menu, simple functions, and not complex.
Good communication with Siri.
Good battery and smart autonomy, fast charging.

Six months later and countless hours of use, I summarize and complete the evaluation. The sound is very good, as I mentioned from the beginning. The battery is decent (not perfect, but good enough). The microphone, combined with noise cancellation software, is the best there is. The application is very good and frequently updates the device's features.
The only real negative is the range, which is approximately 200 meters in open areas (tested between Cardo 4x and Cardo 2x, with the same result). After about +/-200 meters, there are interruptions. The claim of 800 meters (as stated by Group Rider 2 riders) is not even close to reality. It would be great if it had at least 400 meters, but it doesn't even reach 200 meters, and that's when everything is perfect and there are no trees in between
