It is quite stable, but one downside is that it is difficult for someone to hold the phone while it is attached, as the phone covers the buttons. The controller is a joke, it broke quickly. The microphone does not have good recording if you are far away, so I had to buy a long cable to place it next to me in order to capture distant shots. The construction is good, the tripod opens and remains stable, but if you want, you can fold it and it becomes a handle that someone can hold.
