However, through a long journey into the depths of the East and an internal struggle between good and evil, Basil transforms into a capable warrior and defender of the Byzantine Empire's borders; he becomes the "Digenes Akritas".

A variation of the classic epic of Digenes Akritas. A journey through the Silk Road during the darkest medieval times, but also a voyage into the uncharted landscape of human souls and their passions.
