The ASIX P8 by CISA is a reliable mid-security cylinder at a reasonable price. It is very difficult, if not impossible, for inexperienced burglars to break into it, and it will greatly hinder professional burglars, who would need special burglary tools to bypass it.

This particular cylinder is suitable for wooden front doors and for doors and windows with PVC and aluminum frames, but not for reinforced ones.

If you want even greater security, including for reinforced doors, you will need to upgrade to higher security category cylinders such as the astral s or astral tekno pro, and other more expensive ones that are listed in the link below:
