I have both versions of this camera, 2K and 1080, and I have to say that this one, although cheaper, is better with small differences.
To connect, you either scan the camera's QR code or enter the numbers that the camera tells you. Be careful with the second method, as it says a number in English and then repeats it in Chinese until all 4 digits are entered.
Overall, it has good image quality but it only has 20fps. Its lens is particularly wide-angle, meaning it captures a large field of view but doesn't see very far clearly.
It has 3 sensitivity settings for motion detection, but even on the lowest setting, it is easily triggered by moving flowers, insects, and everything else. I wish it were a bit less sensitive to anything that moves.
You can choose whether it notifies you for human or object detection, so the notifications are not constant. What I noticed is that the camera's angle in the space plays a big role in its performance. It works much better when monitoring in a straight line rather than being hung on the ceiling. In that case, it gets confused in distinguishing humans and has more false notifications.
Its night vision is good, but it doesn't have an intensity adjustment for the infrared light. As a result, if it is next to a white wall, the wall gets overly illuminated and obstructs visibility in the distance. It also gets illuminated by dust that can be stirred up by the air and triggers it.
It is waterproof as long as it doesn't get rain falling vertically on its back. When I initially had it facing downwards like that, it got a lot of water and the image started to whiten. I put it inside and the next day it worked normally again.
Overall, for its price, it is decent. It connects immediately with the app and the notifications come instantly. It has its flaws, which is why I gave it 4 stars, but I would buy it again.
For the installation, I had to learn the numbers in Chinese because the firmware was in Chinese and it asked for a 4-digit PIN that was spoken in Chinese!!! Also, it is not waterproof like the older model that had an easy installation via QR code
Review on the first day of use, so I will return with an update. Installation on the phone was immediate. I don't know if it helped that I have a Xiaomi phone. Image quality is amazing. Motion detection and recording to the cloud are flawless. Waiting for an update.
Good camera with good connectivity to the mobile app, but I had understood that it rotates and can monitor the area all around. Also, the double-sided adhesive didn't hold it for even a minute, and unfortunately, the package only contained 1 adhesive. Now I am forced to go buy another adhesive.
I had bought 3 cameras and while they were functioning normally for a while, Xiaomi changed their policy and in order to view the recordings you have to pay a monthly subscription; otherwise, the snapshots are only 9 seconds long even with a memory card. I do not trust this particular company again for any product, I replaced them with others from a well-known company with many positive reviews on this specific site and there are no such restrictions. Always read the reviews before purchasing Xiaomi products.

At first everything was fine. At some point I wanted to reset it and then everything went wrong. It records motion and sends a notification to my phone whenever it feels like it while I'm constantly walking in front of it to get it to record me. I can't understand what suddenly happened.

It may be a bit challenging for you during installation, but if you follow the instructions and read the comments from buyers, you will not have any problems.
Just today, I received the camera.... It is amazing, very clear image with 2K resolution, small and lightweight, and it will be placed in the hallway of my house to cover the "gap" that existed until now!! I have the corresponding one with 1080P resolution which has been working outdoors for 2-3 years, winter and summer, and it hasn't had any issues.... So this one, which is for indoor use, is perfect!! I recommend it 100%, get it...!!

I have it inside a horse stable (it doesn't get wet) connected to a power bank that also powers a 4G modem router (TP-Link).
For the money, it's extremely good! Occasionally it gets stuck and doesn't show an image, but after about 3-5 minutes it unfreezes (maybe it's the 4G's fault).
The microphone/speaker sound is relatively okay. The image is very good for the money! The speed of the microSD is good! In terms of digital security, I WOULD NOT INSTALL IT INSIDE MY HOUSE.
For its price, it is decent material.
Easy to install. Satisfactory image both day and night. Xiaomi's apps are quite good. It competes with "professional surveillance cameras". I already have 4 Xiaomi cameras for indoor and outdoor use. As an experience, I can say that I have 25 "professional surveillance cameras" in my businesses, but in terms of price-quality, I am much more satisfied with Xiaomi.

I don't change them. They are small with a very good camera and a strong magnetic base so you can turn it however you want.
The camera is awesome!! Whatever problems they say about disconnection and disorientation are not true. The android must be responsible for the issues. The installation is done in less than a minute with the iPhone 13. I have been using the Xiaomi application for years with other cameras and devices, I just added this one. Don't think twice, it's worth every penny of its price
Nice little camera, the lens is too wide-angle but it focuses very well both close and far at the same time, the IR illuminates very well 7 meters away while it doesn't get blurry up close, the magnetic base is very convenient as you can hold it around wherever you want, it also has a metal adhesive disc to stick or screw it to the wall, however... During installation, when I had to enter the camera's barcode, I couldn't find it because the stars have it under the base which I had already installed, so I chose the manual method for it to give me 4 numbers. But here's the thing, whatever the camera says is in CHINESE!!! Luckily, the lady from the Chinese neighborhood gave me the solution after I ordered a fried chicken rice to ease the frustration. Have fun!
I have the previous one which is 1080p with microUSB and I am satisfied with both. In the app, you have to select the option that you are in China, but you can easily bypass it and it has improved its connectivity compared to before.

The only downside is its mobile application. It confuses you a bit at first, but once you learn it, everything goes smoothly.

Good evening. I bought 2 for the shop. Without many words, the cameras are fine. Vfm. Also, put a sd card (fast reader) 128gb and that's it. It has a recording file for about 20 days, then it does a rewrite. 2k resolution, the microphone is average. You will download the Xiaomi Home app on your mobile to control the camera's functions.
For 20 euros, it is amazing. I am very satisfied with the camera and I want to get more for my house and for my grandma
Although it is intended for indoor use, I placed it in an outdoor area (protected from rain) and it works perfectly fine.
I have had it for 2 years, after about 1 year it suddenly stops connecting and you have to add the camera from scratch to get it to disconnect, it doesn't disconnect with a restart. I have 2 cameras. This happens with both! It's a hassle to constantly deal with this because as soon as you fix it, it happens again. I do not recommend it.
Basically the only thing it lacks is that you can't rotate it, otherwise it's very good for only 26€ !!!
I believe that it is difficult to find a camera that works so easily and provides such clear images for its price. For me, the only negative aspect is the Xiaomi app (mi home) because sometimes it freezes and fails to load the camera, requiring you to close and reopen it. However, as a camera, it functions very well for at least a year, despite being relatively exposed to different weather conditions. (I don't have it indoors)
Although it was close to 10 meters from the router, it did not connect on the first try for installation. I brought it closer to the router and the installation went smoothly, and then I placed it where I wanted. Everything is fine. If something goes wrong, I will write again.
Nice camera to monitor your space through your mobile phone. The quality and price ratio is very good, easy installation, and I think it's worth buying if someone wants a fixed camera in one spot without rotating.
