It is very interesting, keeps the child occupied for a long time, with many words and images and familiar themes.
Very nice book with a lot of little words that are combined with pictures and flaps that capture the child's interest. Worth it
Simply wonderful! I am truly impressed with this book, which is huge and has nothing to do with other authors' books. It is like an encyclopedia. The illustrations are unique, just like the rest of Arkoudakos' books. The book is divided into 11 sections, such as City, House, Zoo, Construction, Hospital, etc. It's worth paying double the money. I should note that it even has windows (1-3 in number) in each section!
Excellent for a 2-year-old child!!!! Except for being heavy and bulky, it has many familiar images, awesome little windows that capture the child's interest, and very nice illustrations!!! Very economical for its quality. Enriches the child's vocabulary. It doesn't have a plot.
The little one was thrilled, it is big and heavy but it has sparked her interest and she can turn the pages that cannot be cut by herself for 10 months now!
It is a very nice book that deals with images and "windows" for the little one. I recommend it!
It is big and heavy, with pages made of hard cardboard. We got it when she was 15 months old. I wish I had discovered it earlier, even though she still struggles to lift it at 18 months. However, you can hold it and show it to the baby.
It is a very large and quite heavy book that includes many pictures for learning words. Although we generally love the author (mainly for his fairy tales and wonderful illustrations, see "Noi and the Whale", "Grandpa's Island", etc.), this particular book, although it captures the child's interest with its pop-up windows and lively images, can cause confusion because all the images related to things that people do are depicted with animal forms. For example, for the word "nurse", a frog dressed as a nurse is depicted, so the child gets confused. With the complex use of images, the child can learn many words (mainly for inanimate objects and animals) as there are many different sections. If I had to choose again, I would prefer something with more realism.
