  I bought the Huawei GT 3 Pro in 2022 for €250, and it has nothing to envy except for its waterproof feature. Even though it claims to be waterproof, many people said they had issues with water (of course, I didn't test it in water). The Venu 2 Plus watch has more functions than the Huawei, which are more useful for sports. HOWEVER, its battery can't handle them! I had to remove many functions from the Venu and, of course, not connect it to my mobile's WiFi because it easily drains (within 2 days). If you accidentally disconnect it from your mobile's Bluetooth, you have to go to the watch and reconnect it to your mobile. My Huawei charges magnetically, while this one has a port! A bit disappointing for a waterproof Garmin, I wouldn't risk it for swimming. It's quite lightweight, with mediocre build quality compared to the sturdy Huawei. So, let me get to the most essential point for me: the battery ultimately lasts around 4-5 days with Bluetooth, and without Bluetooth, it will definitely last close to 10 days as advertised, but then you don't really need a smartwatch, in my opinion. I believe Garmin still has a way to go with more classic watches. As for contactless payment with a card, Huawei claims to support it, but it doesn't support it yet in Greece!!!!! I haven't tried it with Garmin yet, maybe in the next update.

The response was that they do not replace cracked screens, instead they throw away the watch and replace it with a new one for €190.   I have had the watch for 2 months. It was purchased for 340. Coming from the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic and then the Huawei GT Runner, and being quite active (running or exercising 4-6 times a week), I believe I have a complete opinion.
  Initially, yes, the price is high because it is a 2-year watch, but Garmin generally maintains high prices (like Apple), so I don't find it excessive. I chose this model wanting to get the reliability of Garmin's measurements and keep the necessary smart functions. I was 100% justified in my choice.
  -Personally, I am not a professional athlete, but I need serious, consistent, and reliable measurements. Without exaggeration. It does well in measuring everything (sleep, steps, body battery, running statistics-accurate GPS, stress, etc.). It doesn't give you measurements where one is accurate and one is not (e.g. blood pressure-Samsung or exercise load measurements and running score-Huawei, which I saw didn't make much sense many times). I should note that the heart rate measurements are accurate at rest. I don't have an opinion on running or intense exercise as I connect the watch to the Polar H10 chest strap.
  -In terms of smart functions, you can answer calls, send pre-made messages, and receive all notifications (sometimes rarely missing one, but it's okay). I don't need to type messages from the watch, etc., I consider them unnecessary and excessive.
  -Its connectivity with the Samsung A52s is flawless and fast.
  -The battery lasts for 5 days with full use. Fast charging, about 1 hour from 20% to 100%.
  -The only negative thing, of course, that I also had with the Runner, is that when I wear Galaxy buds, I can't send the call from the watch to the headphones. I have to do it through the phone. It's of little importance but annoying.

  P.S. Update: The only thing it measures incorrectly is the number of floors climbed. Many times, when I run uphill, it assumes that I am climbing stairs, obviously. Generally, I never understood the usefulness of someone counting the floors they climb, but I mention it.

  1. The watch got stuck after a software update and there was no way to repair it, so they replaced it for me because it was still under warranty.
  2. The warranty has expired and the battery has died. While it was working fine, SUDDENLY the battery started draining within 1-2 hours. They said that neither the battery nor the watch can be replaced....
  Basically, the idea that you will get a watch with the notion that you will have it for years does not apply. It's like getting a mobile phone which, in reality, will need replacement in 3 to 4 years.

  Purchased on 17/7 from an official Garmin reseller through Skroutz. Since the day it arrived, I couldn't manage to connect it to my phone. I started searching for what could be wrong, tried everything Garmin suggested, but nothing worked. I waited for days to update the software through Garmin Express, but the application was never active (servers were not available). I tried with different phone brands in case my phone had a problem, but nothing. I probably got a defective product and got a refund after 3 weeks because the product became more expensive. I never understood why they didn't just send me a new one (warranty?). First negative experience with Garmin. I don't know if I would buy it again at a lower price.

  It's simply excellent, I've had it for 9 months! It syncs instantly! It has various workout programs, especially for running but also for other activities. Of course, it has basic tracking but it can also guide you. You can make payments and make phone calls, receive notifications, and give commands to Siri (I have synced it with an Apple iPhone). The only thing it doesn't do is respond to notifications/messages and perform other actions (supposedly it can be done by giving a command to Siri, but it seems difficult for me to set it up). I would like this to be easier, but if you go for an Apple Watch, it offers something different from this watch and you lose something. I would also like to be able to better customize the notification settings for each category differently. Overall, it's very good and I highly recommend it.

  What can I say, a perfect 10!
  The previous reviewers have said it all. As an owner of the "Galaxy Watch4 Classic 42mm" (a very good watch), I have to say that I found exactly what I was missing in the Venu 2 Plus. A very good screen, slightly larger without being too big and fits perfectly on my wrist, even though I have a thin wrist, and an excellent battery life that lasts for 4 days with everything on and 6 to 7 days if I turn off the always-on feature! There are several watch faces (not as many as I had with the Galaxy) but I have found several that are excellent. The only thing I miss from the Galaxy is the rotating bezel (it was the feature I liked the most) but I will get over it!
  The Venu 2 Plus is here to stay as it perfectly meets my needs and I hope it will be durable over time because I have no intention of changing it except with another Venu 2 Plus.

  The golden ratio between the most expensive but purely sport-centric series (fenix, tactix, epix) and the cheaper ones.   As a former owner of an Apple Watch 5, I decided to switch to Garmin, which for me is the best alternative due to its accuracy of measurements and app support. One of the main reasons I made this change was also the battery life, which for the Apple Watch did not exceed 1.5 days.

  Positives:
  1. Battery life with everything on lasts about 4 days depending on usage. If you put it on battery saver mode, it may last up to 7 days, but I haven't tried it.
  2. Very good app with many details that cannot be compared to Apple's.
  3. Accuracy of measurements.
  4. Very nice AMOLED screen.
  5. Comfortable on the wrist.
  6. Works well with the iPhone, although sometimes it takes a while to sync.
  7. Several watch faces available on the app.
  8. Garmin Pay and voice assistant are very good.

  Negatives:
  1. It could have better build quality for its price. The frame is plastic, although of good quality, and only the outline is made of aluminum.
  2. As an iPhone owner, the Apple Watch definitely has better connectivity and much better support, but this is expected.
  3. It does not have wireless charging.
  4. The speaker is of moderate intensity.

  Former user of Huawei gt 2 Pro and Apple watch 3, when you have gone through these devices and open the venu 2 plus you will definitely not be impressed by its quality, which I consider a negative because we are talking about a watch that costs 449 euros and its quality is like a Xiaomi of 100 euros!! I went for this watch and not the Apple watch 7 which is at the same price due to battery life. The connection with the iPhone was very easy by downloading the Garmin app, it has many settings but you have to search to find them which compared to the Apple watch was something that you did much more easily, as for the accuracy of measurements I do not have a complete opinion but due to the company I think it will be very accurate, however I will come back. I hope I helped future buyers. After 5 months the watch is very durable in construction although it does not seem so from the beginning, the screen is very clear even under the sun I never had a problem, in workouts very good measurements and when you are at the gym for example if you enter the Garmin app it will have recognized which exercise you were doing and will display it in the app, for me this is very good and you do not easily find it in other companies.

  As a long-time user of Garmin, I chose this watch because it has everything that the fenix series has, except for detailed maps. In addition to the fenix features, it has a fantastic AMOLED screen and, of course, it is the only model from the company that has a built-in microphone and speaker for answering calls and listening to music.   An excellent hybrid between a smartwatch and a fitness tracker. Garmin brings both together in a very harmonious way. As a smartwatch, you receive notifications for everything (with the ability to disable certain apps) constantly. You can answer calls directly from the watch, and the microphone is very good, although the speaker, while clear, could be a bit louder. There is the option to respond with pre-set messages (in English) to messages or reject calls. The phonebook does not sync automatically, and you will need to manually enter the most frequently called names. It is important to note that the Garmin app must be running in the background of your phone for there to be a connection with the watch. On my Poco F3, which I own, I often experience disconnections, so I close all apps.

  As for fitness tracking, the analysis and accuracy are at the expected level of Garmin. You can download custom trackers depending on the sport you want, having more and better data, and loading sports for which there is no pre-installation. However, I recognize two problems: a) sudden hand movements are often counted as climbing stairs, and b) sleep needs corrections, mainly regarding the start and recording of intermediate power naps.

  The battery lasts with full connectivity, continuous data recording, and fitness tracking for everything for about 5-6 days without using energy-saving mode. Charging is fast (only a cable is provided, not a charger, which is unacceptable for a device that costs 370€).

  Garmin Pay is very good, securing with a 4-digit code and working offline. It is important to note that it works without a connection to the phone.

  The screen is bright and readable in all conditions.

  Overall, an excellent choice, clearly better than competitors except for the Apple Watch.

  I decided to try another brand besides Xiaomi's fun (Amazefit bip, Gtr, Gts2). The choice was right. Tremendous appearance, precise measurements.
