Smartmi 1S Convector Heater, with a power of 2200 Watts. It is a very good solution to immediately meet the heating needs of a space up to 18m². It has minimal energy losses, as almost all power consumption is converted into heat. This results in lower consumption and greater efficiency compared to other heating devices.
The heating is distributed quickly and harmoniously in the space through a combination of thermal emission and air movement, thus avoiding the lifting of dust or drying of the atmosphere. This makes it suitable for people with respiratory problems or allergies. It is also considered an ideal choice for children's rooms due to the absence of dust or gas emissions. Its operation is completely silent, as it does not include a fan or ventilator.
It has excellent stability thanks to its large feet, while its installation is very easy with a simple direct connection to a socket. For optimal performance, it is recommended to place it near areas with the highest heat loss, such as next to windows or balcony doors.
The electronic thermostat allows you to adjust or maintain the desired temperature levels of the space throughout the device's use. Electronic thermostats offer more accurate measurement and regulation of temperature compared to analog thermostats. Additionally, it has a remote control for convenient remote control of the heater.
It includes a timer that helps you program its operation and automatically activate/deactivate it at the set time. This reduces energy costs, thus saving energy and money.
Finally, thanks to the built-in Wi-Fi, you can control the comfort of your home from your mobile phone or tablet. This means that you can open, close, or change the temperature of the heater at any time, wherever you are.
Design
The Smartmi 1S stands out for its well-designed design and lack of fans, which means it ensures silent operation and optimal heating of rooms without drying out the air.
Power
Thanks to the power of up to 2200W, the device quickly and evenly heats an area of 10-15 m2. This is made possible by the careful design of the heater. It was designed in such a way as to ensure the best possible results. This is due to its metal elements and an innovative honeycomb-like ventilation grid.
3 available functions
Adjust the operation of the device to your needs by choosing from 3 available modes. The Smartmi 1S can operate at 900W for effective room heating, 1300W to keep it pleasantly warm, and 2200W for a quick temperature increase. Additionally, when the heater reaches the desired temperature, it will maintain it continuously to reduce energy consumption and provide you with the comfort you need.
Double Protection
The device is equipped with double protection. This ensures that in case of tipping over or overheating, the power supply will automatically shut off.
Compact Size
The heater is compact and weighs only 5 kg. Therefore, it does not take up much space in any room and you can easily move it wherever you need it.

I would like it to be taller and with wheels. If you want frequent transport, it’s not very convenient. It does its job very decently and its thermostat is spot on.
I have been using it for almost a month. I read several reviews and decided to buy this particular heater.
I have placed it in a relatively small room. It has incredible performance and heats up very quickly.
However, I would like to explain why I deducted two stars from my rating.
Firstly, the thermostat does not work properly. Most people have not noticed it, and it struck me as very surprising. I set the device to 18 degrees. But the device will stop when the temperature has reached 3-4 degrees higher. Aside from that, when it finally stops, it then does (management) and simply keeps the temperature stable. But guess what? That doesn't work properly either. The room can drop to 16 degrees, and the app shows 18. This results in the room being relatively cold. During this time, at regular intervals, the device runs at a minimum and just gives off a little heat. It takes several hours for it to notice and work again. And when that happens, the temperature will rise again to 3-4 degrees above the limit I have set.
The only way to solve this is to create automations through the app. But guess what! The automations work only when they remember them.
A second negative is that sometimes the space smells strange. It gives off a metallic smell.
I should note that I sent the first device back, and they replaced it with a new one. So it is not defective. I also researched the issue on YouTube and found that there are quite a few people who have the same problem.
Crazy value for money. In a 60 square meter house with thermal insulation and good aluminum, I keep it at 21-22 degrees and it heats everything... I program it or turn it on remotely and find the house like an oven.
I bought it for my parents to use in their 15 sq.m. bedroom. As for the coverage of the space, it is flawless. It heats the room immediately and quietly. It has also been used in the living room with exactly the same behavior, except that the space is larger, so the temperature needed was higher. Now, regarding consumption, it operates like inverter air conditioners. Once it reaches the desired temperature, it tries to maintain it in the room and automatically lowers consumption, thus reducing costs. Additionally, it easily connects via Wi-Fi through the Xiaomi Home app for remote operation. My parents are satisfied, as am I with my choice!
Very good product but I give three stars for the useless Xiaomi app and the incompatibility it has with Apple phones. Problems with Bluetooth and I can't connect so I use it without the app only with the touchpad it has on top.
I bought three of these heaters recently to try them out. I Got a philco which works great, a Tesla which also works great and the Xiaomi which works great but smells that factory smell for a week or two. Its just like having a kalo-Reephaer on the wall and a much more embracing heat than you get from an AC. If you are app person buy it if not be aware there are no wheels, its controls are in a stupid place but it heats real nice. not sure about how efficient it is cost wise. The Tesla is almost as good and half the cost and it has wheels and a good accesible control panel and its made in Serbia too so Balkan which you dont see every day harrygrant.io
Positives
*Lightweight
*Beautiful design
*Cheap on Black Friday
*Control from mobile
Negatives
*Once you turn it off, the space freezes; it doesn't hold temperature like radiators
*Takes a long time to heat the space
*Uses a lot of electricity for what it provides
*Doesn't heat open spaces; for example, my house is 50 sqm, it only warmed the room for a short time.
Conclusion: It's not worth the money; invest in a good air conditioner or another heating method instead.
Very good for small spaces, but how is it possible that within a year from 75 when I got it, it has gone to 125? The thermostat doesn't always work properly
Excellent heater! I would rather call it a radiator... the house is a total of 47 sq.m. and I placed it in the living room which is an open space. Generally, the house has moderate insulation, new frames, but it is on the third floor with a terrace. The terrace is relatively insulated, yet the cold and wind hit it constantly as it is a corner unit. Not only does it heat the space where I placed it, but it also heats the entire house with a satisfactory warmth; of course, it should be noted that it also functions as an air conditioner, so the combination creates a uniform and pleasant atmosphere that can sometimes become stuffy due to the excessive heat.
A plus is that the warmth lasts for a while even after you turn it off. Very helpful that it can be turned on from a distance or set to specific times, and it also turns on and off by itself to maintain the set temperature.
I don't have an idea about consumption yet; when the electricity bill comes, I will update.
Update 12/2024: Regarding how much it consumes, I am quite satisfied as I expected the bill to be quite inflated, but it wasn't. The kilowatt-hours it consumed include the air conditioning that was running simultaneously. Ultimately, a very good heater. To avoid a huge increase, it should operate at a normal temperature of around 20-22 degrees. I have it set to run steadily at 21 degrees for 10 to 12 hours every day. It heats and maintains the room temperature just fine, and importantly, it doesn't consume a lot of electricity!
Very good heater, I put it in the living room and in the room in a house with not very good insulation and it heats up immediately. In the room, I set it to a maximum of 22 degrees and it heats up in 20 minutes. In the living room, which is bigger, about 30 sq.m, I set it to 23-24 degrees and it heats up fully. The heat it produces is the same as that of a radiator. I am very satisfied!! Now for the electricity, I will give an update when I have an opinion, but generally speaking, if you have a reasonable temperature, it doesn't consume much.
Very good product. If you want it to heat a space as it says in its description, it is ideal. If you want it to have next to you in a large space to keep you warm, do not prefer it because the heat comes from the top part of the body, which automatically makes it useless in huge spaces. The heat rises high and does not come down to you, so it becomes useless. I would like it to have wheels, but okay, it is not very heavy. Overall satisfied
The product is very good and easy to use. Easy connection with WiFi. The precision thermostat, verified with a room thermometer. Heats up very quickly and produces very good warmth. I don't know about consumption yet, but with a quick calculation, I see that it shouldn't be high...
Heats up very quickly, 25 square meters in 10 minutes makes it an oven! I don't know about consumption yet, but it turns off by itself as soon as it reaches the temperature.
Very good product! It heats up the room very quickly even with poor insulation (wooden frames). Quiet and with very nice warmth! I saw a significant difference in my bill, but at least I didn't get cold as I adjusted it through the app before I went home to find the room warm. During the night, I had programmed it to activate every hour or every two hours (depending on the outside temperature).
2.2 kWh to heat a 12 sqm room. Since the performance is not satisfactory at all, it will have to burn for 10 hours a day. Therefore, 22 kWh per day. At 11 cents/kWh, we are talking about 2.42€ per day or 72.6€ per month, in addition to one device, for one room...
Affordable. The heating I had in my space was an air conditioner combined with a well-known company's pellet stove. I have purchased 2 devices. In half the operating time, it provides constant warmth in a 65sqm house.
It does not heat the room (10sqm) satisfactorily and it is not even cold, it is 13 degrees outside. I just received it and I will return it. Wasted money, what a shame because it is beautiful!!!
24/01/24 Update:
I also noticed that the wifi does not work and the store from which I bought it does not accept to resolve the issue. The representative from customer service was very rude on the phone. Overall a headache... Stay away.
Currently, for me, this is possibly the best heating device with a purchase cost that, however, presents significant fluctuations. I bought it for €80 at the end of November and I have seen incredible price fluctuations. If you find it for up to €100, buy it without hesitation. Of course, all this is subjective.
We are talking about a device with a high-precision electronic thermostat. Beautiful design, with support only on the floor and no possibility of wall mounting.
It reaches the desired temperature very quickly, either through operation via the application (very easy connectivity) or with the buttons located on one side. The cable length is satisfactory.
Now, regarding the main feature, which is consumption. I have it connected to a socket that measures consumption quite well. The data shows that the heater initially burns at a maximum of 2.2kW until it reaches the desired temperature selected by the user, and then consumes enough watts to maintain that temperature. If a user selects a temperature of 26°C, which is excessive, the heater will constantly burn and consume the maximum amount of 2.2kWh, as it would be unnatural for even a small space to be able to maintain such a temperature. The sensible and normal temperature selection also has a reasonable consumption. For example, if someone selects a temperature of 20°C in a 12 sqm room, the consumption for approximately 7-8 hours will not exceed 4-5kW (about €1).
With proper temperature choices, sensible use, and correct placement (it is good to place it where there are losses), you will permanently have a warm space without paying high costs.
I hope I helped.
Absolutely satisfied with this specific heater. I use it for about 10 hours per week in my room and it heats it up in no time. It digitally displays the humidity percentage of the room and you can see it dropping significantly very quickly. From what I read, it functions like a small body heater and indeed it doesn't dry out the air. These are the positives. Now let's move on to the rest. Ideally, I would have liked it to have wheels for easy transportation, but it's not a big deal as it has gaps on the sides to hold and lift it without getting burned. It is very lightweight. Unfortunately, the cable is short. The 3 modes it has for wattage should be manually adjustable by us, rather than being automatic. As for the electricity consumption, which is naturally a concern for most people, it increased my monthly consumption by approximately 60kw. Nevertheless, I believe it is worth it as a supplementary heating method and not as the main one. It was purchased on Black Friday for 79.15 Euros, definitely great value for money!
The heater is quite powerful. I tried it as a supplemental unit in a large space and it had good performance. However, I noticed that at a temperature of 24 degrees, it burned about 2kw in just one hour. Of course, it didn't stop working due to the large space it was heating. Maybe at a lower temperature, it won't burn as much. Also, for those who don't know, it's not an air heater. It simply heats up as a body and emits a strong heat with minimal airflow
4 stars because I always keep a reserve, so to speak. However, as a product, it is excellent in terms of quality for its price, flawless in performance as well. I have insulation in my house, and the temperature in winter is always around 23-24°C. I bought it for the baby's room, but no! In 10 minutes, you couldn't even enter. I took it out to the common area, the part where we have the couch is around 20 square meters, and it heated up the space to around 40°C, to the point where you could feel the heat.
Purchased today, 22-01-2023! The appearance and overall design are incredibly beautiful. What I noticed from the first minute of operation is the quality of the thermostat. It deviates significantly from the actual temperature, resulting in the room appearing warmer than it actually is. I will test it during the winter and update this review. Nonetheless, it is incredibly powerful and the heat it produces is really good. I believe it is worth its price, I just hope for an upgrade to improve the thermostat somehow.
07-02-2023: I returned a few days later. With the intense cold we had these days and the bad weather conditions, this heater performed much better than I expected. Even the issues I initially thought the thermostat had turned out to be untrue, and it works almost flawlessly. The only downside is that the app does not allow you to create your own automation scenarios based on temperature. Nevertheless, as a device, it is impeccable and I highly recommend it!
Positive:
+ Good heating performance
+ Quality construction
+ Connects to Mi Home. This allows you to create some usage scenarios, although I consider them unnecessary.
+ It has a small screen with touch buttons to select the desired temperature and timer. It displays the desired temperature, timer, and humidity. The screen has adjustable brightness to avoid disturbance.
+ Relatively small in volume compared to other similar products
+ Aesthetically beautiful and discreet
+ Comfortably covers spaces of 15-20 square meters. Personally, I use it in a space of about 25 square meters and it can handle it.
Negative:
- Only for floor use, cannot be wall-mounted
- The cable could be a bit longer
- It does not have space to store the cable, so it hangs
Neutral:
- It does not have wheels. You can move it relatively easily, it is not heavy, and it has handles to hold it without getting burned.
- With moderate use at 21-22 degrees Celsius, you will not see significant increases in power consumption.
Conclusion:
I bought it for 120€, which is a bit expensive. At a price around 100€, it would be more reasonable. Xiaomi also has more affordable models.
Update: I have been monitoring it and it has dropped to 80€, which I consider a good value for money if you want something quality that will last you for years. We are going for the 4th winter with this one. Our demands have increased now, as we moved to a bigger house, but I believe it will handle it this year as well. I will come back after the cold of '24.
Update 19/11/23: First serious cold with temperatures around 9-10 degrees Celsius outside. It covers the 15 square meter room, north-facing without insulation, at 21 degrees Celsius, and reduces it to 19 degrees for maintenance during the night, taking advantage of the off-peak electricity rates. Power consumption is approximately 1-1.3 kW/h.
