As a size (the 20 liters), I would say it is practical. However, the thickness of the plastic is quite thin (it can be easily squeezed with a finger) and I wouldn't say the lid is very secure. It is not a plastic of high durability for potential stresses. For transporting oil, it might be a bit risky, but I will try it and hope there won't be any issues. I would see it as a product that is better for home storage (e.g., olives) rather than for frequent transportation from the olive mill to home. The price is okay for what it is.
