I use it on R6 and I can say that it is an amazing lens. Beautiful and quality construction, fully metallic but without weather sealing, super smooth focus ring, fast autofocus, and it is recognized by the camera as Viltrox 85mm 1.8 RF, therefore it accepts all corrections through the camera's menu. It also has a type C port for future firmware updates. The results are very good, with good sharpness, very good colors, but sometimes it shows chromatic aberration which is easily corrected.

Perhaps the best lens among those I have. Incredibly fast, razor-sharp focus, colors. On the EOS R, it is permanently mounted (I have the 24-35-50 and the 24-105, but this is my number one choice)

The best there is for this price. I would say surprisingly good lens. With the first clicks, you realize that the lens is modern and has excellent quality in the result. A great upgrade compared to the old Canon. For RF, there is no other logical choice in terms of cost. For EF, there are other options but for 2, 3, 4, etc. times the cost of this lens.

A truly value for money lens, for the RF system! Sharp, lightweight, and with very good bokeh! I use it on the eos r. The eye detection is excellent! Very good colors!
