    I used various colors for washing machine dyes. I put a larger amount of clothes than recommended, but otherwise followed the instructions. The positives: satisfactory coverage on whites (sheets), excellent coverage on re-coloring various items (bathroom rug, towel) that had a similar color and had faded. They did not fade or affect other clothes in the first wash. Negatives: the color does not match what is depicted on the packaging or described. You are dyeing blindly. The shades are basic.
