The Gosund SP1 is a smart plug with a European socket. Through the app, you can control the lighting or other household appliances directly from your smartphone. Using the Smart Life app (Tuya app), which is available for free download on Android and iOS, you can control the device from anywhere in the world with an internet connection. The device is compatible with the latest systems: IFTTT, Amazon Alexa, and Google Assistant. The package includes 2 smart plugs SP1.

Available Use

The Smart Life app is available in many languages. Besides the standard on/off switch, it also offers the ability to create action plans for each device, so they can be turned on/off automatically at specific times. Gosund devices work only on 2.4GHz WLAN networks. With the app, you can schedule the operation of your home devices, including bulbs, to simulate the presence of a resident, thus deterring potential burglars.

    Good construction quality at a very good price, but the consumption measurements are not in real time (there is a small delay). Compatible with Google Home. The connection was not the easiest with the smart life application, but it worked on the third attempt and has not disconnected so far. No comparison to the Tp-link Kasa HS110, which unfortunately are no longer produced and I would definitely prefer them even though they were 2.5 times more expensive.
    UPDATE 7/11/22: Both sockets disconnect twice a month. The third time, they will probably go in the trash.
    UPDATE 13/11/22: One of them eventually went in the trash, after I tried it with all 3 compatible applications (Gosund, Smart Life, Tuya). It keeps disconnecting constantly. Useless. I have had the Tp-link Kasa HS110 for over 3 years and after the initial connection, I never had to deal with them again. You get what you pay for though..
