  If someone wants to deal a little more than just a simple video, this specific gimbal is what they need. Ideal for large mobile phones. I had the DJI om5 and it struggled a lot with the 12pro max. With the smooth 5, it's a piece of cake. It has an incredible range of motion. Solid construction, control of all options from the gimbal itself and not from the phone, which makes it very user-friendly. Overall, it's a nice tool if you use it. Of course, the app is not the best, but if someone gets involved and enjoys the whole process, they can spend a few euros and download the filmic pro, which is amazing.
  Update.
  After using it for a few months, the gimbal proves to be a very good purchase. Flawless stabilization with iPhone 13 pro max with a case and a small tripod on the camera with an nd filter (we're talking about over 330 grams). As for the filmic pro that I recommended, yes, it's a great application, but now they've made it a subscription-based service, so from me, it's a big NO. The zy cami and stacam apps are also good.

  I had doubts about how well my Xiaomi Redmi 9 would work with Android. Eventually, after doing some research, I took the risk and bought it. It turned out to be a wise choice. In the first place, I have the following to say:

  Even with the built-in Xiaomi camera application, it works satisfactorily. Some of the key points are:
  - It can open the camera even when the phone is idle.
  - It works with zoom (including for the wide-angle lens!).
  - It starts and stops video recording.
  - It switches between front and back cameras.
  - It switches between video and photo modes.

  However, with the StaCam application, it can do almost everything. You can adjust resolution, exposure, white balance, histogram, zoom (except for the wide-angle lens), focus, and much more.

  I assume that with the next generation of Xiaomi, it will perform even better.

  As for its construction, it is sturdy and well-made. It is very smooth in its movements and has excellent behavior. It is very important that you can change the axes it follows directly through handling. It can follow one, two, or all three axes, as well as perform vertigo and go shots.

  The zoom/focus button is amazing. The battery life is excellent, and you can even charge your phone from its battery! It has a tripod that does a good job, and you can use it as an additional handle or attach it in place of a monopod, etc. It also has a side mount for attaching additional accessories. Overall, it is much better than an amateur gimbal.

  The only point that could be improved is having larger letters on its screen. It is not easy to read in very bright light.

It has easy balancing but this process requires attention because if you don't balance it correctly on both axes, it quickly consumes the battery.
