The teapot from GTSA is made of cast iron, an ideal material for slow boiling at a steady temperature, which it distributes evenly. All you will need is low to medium heat.

While the teapot is still warm, carefully wipe it inside and out with a dry cloth. Note that cast iron is not suitable for the dishwasher. The cast iron teapot should be dried immediately while it is still warm. Washing with hot water is sufficient; there is no need to use any additional cleaner like dish soap.

The filter it comes with allows you to use tea leaves directly in the pot, and you can also control the steeping time of your tea to prevent over-extraction of tannins.
