I have easily installed it under the door handle. Of course, not with the provided plugs, but with my own white ones specifically for wall mounting, not heavily reinforced with cement. Overall, it is a relatively lightweight and sturdy construction (the bar is not solid metal). Indeed, as long as you install it properly, it provides high protection. I have installed it for about 2-3 weeks and have not encountered any problems. It goes in and out very easily. So, considering its price, I would recommend it to a friend.
