Very cheap plastic, does not turn easily. If you loosen the screws something happens, but it still depends on what level you want them. It is a good choice for casual fans, but definitely not if you are going to "change its lights". On the second day, the 5x5 fell apart in my hands, I reassembled it and it's fine but it requires slow movements, not fast ones.
You get what you pay for, but I would not recommend it.
