This review is about the contents kit: Solo

Through this review, I would like to make a statement about the amateur or professional use of tools (in general). I want to clarify that I am an amateur, although I have occasionally needed to use such tools for professional use, mainly in the workplace. Therefore, I believe that someone who screws in over 1000 screws a month, drills 500 holes in walls or wood (just giving a rough estimate) is considered a professional and must necessarily have professional tools (Milwaukee, Dewalt, Metabo, Makita, Hilti, etc.) worth over €300. For those of us who will drill 2 holes a year for a frame and a shelf and screw in 10 screws or assemble a small table, a tool like this is more than enough. Is there a chance it could let me down while I’m drilling a hole? Of course, there is a possibility, and a significant one at that, but if I treat it fairly, it might serve me well for 10 years with the repairs around the house and the vacation home. The issue is that I can do my little job (always with a low profile behavior towards the tool) and save the cost of the handyman who will come and do it quickly and comfortably with a €300 tool (because he is a professional and must have such an expensive tool, while for me, the Kraussmann is more than enough)!!! So I would say that if you are an amateur looking for a small drill to do repairs, get it with your eyes closed. If it’s for more intensive use (even semi-professional), go for something more expensive. I think I have made myself understood, and for those of you who intend to spend money on buying an expensive tool that you will keep in a suitcase on the balcony just to see it and show it off, you just wasted your money. Get the Kraussmann and you will do your job just fine. With patience and love for the tool and the hole, you will drill and screw in the screws without having spent a fortune on something you will use 5 times a year!
It charges quickly with its 2-amp battery, has a nice ratchet, the chuck doesn’t loosen easily when unscrewing, it’s lightweight, has a nice grip, makes a bit of noise, its impact is decent, it’s slightly eccentric, and the combination of orange and black colors is nice. Overall, a fair choice at this price.

A quick update after 8 months of use. During this time, I used it to install a shelf (drilling and screwing), to mix a cement mixture, to screw in about 50 screws, and to scrub the house's frying pans and a grill with a wire brush. Did I get the job done? I did, and more than that. Did I push it to its limits? Very little. Could it let me down? Of course, it could. But for now, the little drill satisfies me and then some.

After many months and moderate use, I made an improvement that raised its level significantly. I replaced the plastic chuck with an automatic metal one from Temu. Now I have a much more useful little tool for minor repairs. The screwdriver works like it did on the first day, without any problems, but also without pushing it too hard. Just simple screwing and basic holes in wood and wall. Up to that point and nothing more.

I did not expect this for the money. Time will tell about its durability, of course
