The device has not presented any problems in the 4 months we have had it, but it has a bunch of malfunctions and definitely does not worth its money.
-The packaging does not include adapters for the camera and the screen. So we use our old mobile ones.
-The micro USB port of the camera is unacceptable and the cable never stays connected securely. As soon as you move the baby a little, it disconnects.
-The range is ridiculous.
-The battery of the monitor lasts very little and constantly needs charging.
-The stand of the screen never holds it satisfactorily stable.
So for all these reasons, I do not recommend it and I would suggest searching for a higher quality device, as this one has an unreasonable cost for what it offers.
I would not recommend this intercom system. When we started using it, everything was fine, but after a few months, about 6, the battery started swelling from the monitor. The device did not fall down, and no water entered it. Day by day, the situation is getting worse.
The only positive thing I have to say is that the screen is quite large. Everything else is negative.
1. The build material is extremely poor. The entire construction is plastic.
2. The sound quality is bad and not easily detectable.
3. The screen battery lasts very little.
4. There was only one adapter in the package, while actually two are needed since, as mentioned before, the screen requires constant charging.
5. It definitely is not worth its money.
We bought it and as soon as we turned it on, the screen stopped working. Fortunately, we returned it immediately and we are in search of a new one. I heard the worst about its build quality.
Terrible construction!
The first disappointment came when we opened it. It doesn't have the function of remote camera movement from the monitor. It wasn't mentioned anywhere in the specifications, even though it is considered one of the basic functions of an intercom. Also, there are no adapters to connect the charging cables. Only two micro-USB cables. We were lucky to have kept adapters from our old chargers.
Within a month, it had two damages. The stand of the monitor, which helps it stand upright, broke. No, we couldn't put it back, only if we opened the whole monitor and thus voided the warranty. The stand itself couldn't support the weight of the monitor. The second damage occurred to the camera's USB cable. The cable detached from the plug, which remained inside the camera's port!!! No forceful movement was made in both damages, which led us to the fact that it's not worth the money at all. All its parts are of very low quality and are not reflected in its price. I do not recommend it to anyone. Supposedly, we spent more money to get a good quality machine to do our job without any problems.
