The camera really burns brain cells. It cannot be configured with any next-generation routers. For those who have Wifi 6 or Cosmote provider and Speedport 2 or newer router, the camera is truly useless. Even the technicians from Cosmote cannot manage to connect it (we spent 45 minutes on phone settings, just in case..). The company's customer service is non-existent, somewhere in China without any response, and there is no chance they will assist you (not even a chance). To avoid investing 120+ € just to test your nervous system, it's better to look for something else. For those who have older technology routers, maybe the situation changes!

Waste of money. With a new router with Wifi 6, the device cannot be installed. The setup through the application is not easy. It has taken me 3 days of my life to install it, but it is not possible. It no longer has RSTP, so you cannot write to your own hard drive, and they force you to pay $9.99 per month to get a 30-day recording from the cloud. Their customer service does not understand English very well and cannot help you set it up. The customer service works during China's hours. I would not buy a device from this company again.

Excellent quality heavy construction due to the battery. It has a very strong magnetic or screw support base to choose what suits you.
It was placed outdoors, exposed to rain and sun to monitor the yard and the house as a whole at a 90-degree angle, a fairly large area, I can say about 80 square meters. I couldn't pass power supply, so I preferred to have a battery, maybe in the future I will get its panel. In eco mode, which is activated only with motion detection, it has easily lasted me over 1.5 months with the battery.
It is connected to WiFi Tenda 35mbps at a distance of 15m with 3 walls in between, signal strength 50%, no problem with streaming Full HD, definitely with a better line at shorter distances it would perform better. It detects motion up to 10 meters away and sends a notification with a 3-second delay. The algorithm for humans seems to work relatively well, it only triggered once on a dog that came very close.
Compared to an Aqara that I have, the Ezviz is better for night shots.
It has a microphone and sound, which I have disabled. Additionally, it has a motion-activated light. I have it disabled so as not to give away its location.
It has built-in memory and does not require additional. For cloud storage, a subscription is needed. I haven't explored more features or if I will connect it to a recorder, mainly because I don't have it to record continuously. However, I will come back to it.

Very good build quality and easy installation. It has a very good sensor and directly detects movement, resulting in immediate recording without delay, at least during the day. I didn't expect it, but the magnetic base is more convenient in terms of the recording field. The only thing that concerns me is how to delete the device's memory. It remains to be seen regarding battery life.

In the package you will find the camera, wall plugs with a hole guide, a base with screws, and a magnetic base (the second one is more convenient in my opinion), and a 10W charger. The camera has a built-in 32GB memory, so you won't need to buy a micro SD card (plus the option for cloud storage with a subscription, of course).

The installation and adding of the camera to the company's application (EZVIZ) is one of the easiest and most understandable for a beginner user, at least for this specific model (on Android and iOS). The image quality is good, and at night there is the option for color or black and white recording. At least for about 11-12 meters of coverage in an outdoor area where it has been installed for days, it is effective. It is waterproof like all cameras of this type, you can hear the sound, as well as speak through the application. The siren from the alarm sounds relatively low. The lens that lights up at night when it detects motion from the other side is quite powerful in my opinion.

The image delay is about 2 seconds, there are no interruptions or other viewing problems, but this also depends on your network. Notifications always come on time, and any firmware updates for the device are easy to do. The wifi receiver is okay, it goes through one door and about 6 meters from the router in my example, although I haven't tested it with a wall in between. Through the application, you can see the battery level. Depending on the recording mode you set, the duration can reach a few months with 100% charge.

Finally, optional but the device is compatible with the EZVIZ Solar Panel. Such a purchase is recommended.

EZVIZ always leads the way. I bought this CS-BC1C security camera with a focus on excellent quality and PIR function (detecting motion based on heat!!!)

I bought it for a project as a video camera due to its exceptional image quality in low light with very good colors. Yes, it sounds silly, but if you think about it, with the 100 euros I bought it for, it was perfect for my needs. Surely the CS-BS1C 2K+ is better and will definitely be my next purchase as it has H.265 image compression and overall better resolution.
Now, as a security camera, it's not just good, it's more than just a camera with an image. It has quite advanced features, such as self-defense with sound siren and white light that turns on, it doesn't have black and white image at night but colored, built-in 32GB memory, and connection to the EZVIZ cloud.
It has also been tested in water (rain) and didn't suffer any damage, even in a small fall. It comes with two bases, a magnetic one on the back of the camera and a screw-in one for permanent installation.

The downsides are definitely the absence of an http web interface in all EZVIZ cameras, which is logical (for security reasons), it doesn't have FTP protocol, RTSP protocol end-to-end, meaning only through the EZVIZ app for streaming or in software that supports RTSP, for example VLC.

The positives are the price, because we are talking about a wireless security camera without cables and installation, without the need for a PVR recorder, easy connection with the application. Previous functions such as PIR and super-eco mode for up to 210 days of battery life without a cable.

It is better than the previous model of the same company (with a built-in battery). It has a memory card and the most important thing is its light that turns on with every detection.
