Mediocre things, you just look. For me, the image on one side becomes a little bluer, there seems to be some problem. I bought it for around 40 euros during covid just to be able to give some lessons during the exam period. The 150 euros that I see they are selling it for now is a huge rip-off. With 150 euros, you can find something with 1080p and 60 fps, what can I say now. It's not even worth 50 euros, come on.

The stand is very convenient to be placed either on the screen or independently somewhere else, elastic and adjustable.

The image quality is acceptable for the price it asks for, however, at night you will need extra lighting or the room light turned on. Unfortunately, it does not have any software other than a typical Windows driver. For its price, I can say it is a fairly good choice.

It has a decent picture for anyone who just wants to get the job done, without any software, it's just plug & play. Its microphone picks up even the neighbor who is whispering, which is not good, but I didn't buy it for the microphone anyway. Now, those 80-90 euros it claims to cost is a rip-off. But for basic things, it is ideal at 30 euros

I have had it since 2016. I bought it for about 29 euros. It is definitely not worth the 80 and 90 that it is now due to the circumstances. It does not come with drivers, but it works fine on Windows 10. The image quality is satisfactory, but it is definitely not HD as stated. The sound is quite good.

The downside of this specific camera is that there is no compatibility of its software with Windows 10, although it still works, you just lose the extra features it provides.
It works flawlessly on Windows 7. Its image quality is satisfactory and its base is really convenient because it takes the shape you give it, like clay!

It is definitely not professional and does not claim any accolades in the field of image and sound, but it is decent, especially now that the price has dropped to around €25. I bought it 8 years ago (and it still works perfectly) for about €40.
I have two laptops with an i5 processor worth about €550 each. One is from last year, and the other is brand new (April 2020). Both have much worse image quality (their webcams) compared to the camera we are talking about (LifeCam HD-3000).
I don't think anyone would expect anything more from this camera, considering its price (€25).

I bought a second camera and installed it on Windows 10 PRO 20H2 Ver (Release Date October 2020).

From version 1703 (Creators Update) of Windows 10, all cameras with the Legacy driver are automatically locked by the system. You need to go to Start > PC settings > Privacy > Camera > and enable "Allow apps to use your camera" and "Allow Desktop apps to use your camera" and enable the applications you want to use the camera.
Meanwhile, there is no control software for the camera to correct image imperfections (color, focus, etc.). Normally, this camera should not be sold in stores.

When I speak, I hear the beep sound all the time when I check the recording, and the funny thing is that the beep is louder than my voice!! In the Windows settings, I don't have the option for Mic boost, only the microphone volume, which if I lower, I can't be heard on the other side due to the noise. I try to download the driver for Windows, but it won't install, I don't know what's happening. If I find something, I will do an update, but overall, I'm very disappointed. P.S. I never liked it, I have it since 2010 and it always had terrible image quality, it's an ancient camera, let's be honest. Even if you have plenty of light in front of the camera, including the room's lamp, it's still terrible. I tried all the settings and none of them impressed me. I tried to make a video with remote control in the living room and the colors and lighting of the camera are awful. Truly, you get what you pay for. When you buy something much more expensive than something else in the same category, it's usually better, not always but many times it's true. If you have the money for something more expensive, you will definitely be much more satisfied with the pricier option. And no, I don't recommend it unless you have low expectations.

It surpasses laptop cameras without, however, providing perfect image quality. The 30 fps limit it and in low light, it illuminates what needs to be illuminated, I expected it to not show anything. In terms of the microphone, it is terrible. It is manageable for Skype calls. In online games, when I was talking on Discord or in the in-game voice chat, everyone would tell me that I sounded like an alien and when someone pressed my voice, it sounded garbled. The price, of course, justifies all of the above. Even with an additional +10 euros, it is difficult to find a better option, so they are recommended for casual use.

I had 2 Logitech C270 (the main competitor of the HD-3000) but because Logitech doesn't care to release proper drivers, OBS was going crazy with BSOD, and I almost burned my motherboard from all the hard resets. The solution to replace one C270 with another NON-Logitech was the only way. In the end, it worked but the quality of the C270 compared to the HD-3000 is much higher... What a shame.. Also, the software (God bless it) is a joke. It never saves the settings and after every restart/shutdown, it needs to be reconfigured from scratch.
