The 2.4Ghz frequency is the most common and has a large range. The 5Ghz provides higher speed than the 2.4Ghz but is more sensitive to obstacles (e.g. walls) that reduce its range. This difference, as well as its more limited use, helps to have less interference from other networks. The repeater can provide up to 750Mbps in total to the devices connected to it. In practice, the actual speed shared with the devices is closer to 150Mbps. For example, a high-resolution 4K movie requires about 25Mbps. The speed that each connected device will have depends on the distance, obstacles, how many other devices are connected, how many other networks exist in the same area, etc. It is Wi-Fi 5 generation, the most common Wi-Fi standard, which can meet the needs of most users at present. There is now also the next generation Wi-Fi 6, which offers the ability to connect many more devices to serve the increasingly growing smart devices in a home.
