I connected it to my home wifi. Not easily because I had to guess how to type letters, numbers, and symbols to enter the password. But I connected it in 5 minutes. Ask for help from chatgpt or someone who has some experience with these. Or from me haha. On all the computers we have at home, it connected with the "add a new printer" option in Windows. Ok, I also connected it to a Linux, but that doesn't count because it almost connected by itself haha. It prints about 5 pages per minute (I measured it) and doesn't take long to start. The color printing is good even though I've only tried it in draft mode (I'm not really into printed photos). Overall, I think it's a good purchase.
You don't expect crazy things from an economical printer. But it's better to spend a little more money and get something of better quality. It constantly has connection issues with the wifi. We've been using it here for two and a half years in a completely relaxed manner, and already three times it has had serious problems. It eats the paper, doesn't print, and I lose days of my life trying to figure out why it gets stuck. The ink runs out in no time at all. To the point where it's more cost-effective to print outside...
Overall, it's a big No
1 black ink cartridge prints 100 pages.
After 20 pages, it heats up, starts printing, stops briefly in the middle of the page, and starts again.
All the plastics creak, they are not of good quality.
And the screen it has is difficult to read.
Its application is terrible because the printer does not connect, but I downloaded the nokoprint from the play store and it works fine. However, it does not scan from nokoprint. So far, I have not found an application to scan from a printer, also the inks are expensive and there are no good remanufactured inks. With the print quality, it prints some vertical lines but they are not very visible. I think a good used hp printer will be better.
Good but it empties the ink cartridges immediately and then you have to spend another 40€ for new ones. Right next to it, I have a 25-year-old Epson Stylus 1000 inkjet printer that, with the same ml cartridge, prints 600 pages and even more when I refill the same cartridge with just 2€ since I can't find a new one for it due to its age.
Coming from an OfficeJet and overall disappointed with HP's requirements, such as creating an account with HP in order to install/use it, high ink cost (plus high ink consumption when cleaning the printhead after a period of non-use), I switched to CANON.
Easy installation from the printer panel, WiFi connection, driver installation from Canon, and ready in less than 5 minutes. The prints are of good quality for its price range, the scanner works flawlessly. The machine has a Power Off function if it remains inactive for a certain period of time, but it quickly resumes with the press of the Power button. It's not as fast in pages per minute, but for home use, it's great. The ink cost and pages per cartridge are satisfactory, and overall, after 6 months of use, I am satisfied.
I bought it 3 years ago. So far, everything is fine. The ink lasts a long time and it has a generally reasonable price.
Disappointed with the printer, something seems to be wrong with the drivers, during installation it drove me crazy because I had connected it to wifi first and then plugged in the USB cable to the computer, it wouldn't recognize it at all through the cable, resulting in it only sending prints through wifi, which took 1 to 2 minutes for a single print. I completely disabled the wifi to make it functional.
If I try to print a picture I made in Paint, it freezes, right when it starts printing it suddenly stops and spits out the page, the problem is that it keeps trying to print it again and again on its own until it finishes the whole paper.
The screen it has is completely useless, you can't see anything at all, I had to use the camera lens on my phone to be able to read what it said.
It is the slowest (by far) printer I have ever worked with.
Useless printer that for 20€ prints only 180 pages
