Fantastic for the money. It literally makes night into day without the LED lighting. It is fully waterproof, endured rain for 4 days and didn’t notice a thing. It has never frozen. Notifications come through normally and it has different recording scenarios. For the 44 euros I paid, it has no competitor. Kudos to TP-LINK
Very good camera as everyone mentions. It has a sensitivity and notifies you even when it sees lightning, but personally, it doesn't bother me. The only negative I noticed is with the speaker. When I get close to the phone to listen to the space, I hear a buzzing sound that resembles the sounds of an old dial-up modem.
It's worth the money. For non-professional use, it's very good. The only downside is that when you watch a video, you can't rewind. If you want to see something again, you have to start the video from the beginning. Anyone who wants to buy it should get the latest model v2.2 with AI.
Excellent product connected very easily and with the cloud for recording, I will also buy the doorbell from the same company. It was installed easier than I planned. Updates in real-time now maximum clarity in detail if you want you might as well get a camera with higher resolution.
Quite a good camera. It has many features and the installation is very easy. The image is good (we're always talking about a non-professional camera). For this reason, I believe it should have been about 10 euros cheaper.
It is a very value for money product. It withstood very well the rain and didn’t have any issues with the direct exposure to the sun even during one of the hottest and sunniest years of all times in Athens center. The image quality is decent. The subscription isn’t mandatory in order for the camera to work, but it is really good to work with. It work with a but WiFi connection as well. The only drawback is that the motion detection is really bad resulting in numerous false alerts.
I had the c310 which was 3MP and I decided to do an update because it didn't show the license plates clearly, so I thought I'd go for the 320 which is 4 mega pixels... The only difference they have is that the 320 has more vibrant colors and it doesn't change anything at all compared to the 310, just a waste of effort, unacceptable. I will say with reservation that the 320 might even show worse...
Very good camera. I would definitely buy it again. Its resolution is incredible for a camera with very natural colors. Also, the technologies it incorporates are very advanced. For example, you can directly see which moments of the day it detected motion with a lot of customizations. I had some Xiaomi cameras that broke on their own and I'm not going back.
This is the third one I'm getting, completely satisfied, I've had the first one for 2 years and it has no problems at all. I will continue to get them whenever I need a camera
Easy installation. I mainly use motion detection when I'm away from home and it works perfectly. There are no false notifications. The notifications are simple app notifications on Android, so I changed the sound for that specific app and set it to a loud one so I can tell that I have a notification from the camera and not from another app.
+ Very good image day-night.
+ Good FOV
+ Large WiFi range
+ Long power cable
+ Works normally with a recorder (via ONVIF - http or via simple IP camera - rtsp) simultaneously with an SD card and with its app
+ In its app (tapo view), the person detection works very satisfactorily.
- The intrusion, crossing, and motion detections give quite a few false alarms even with insects flying in front of the camera at night or with movements due to wind.
? Durability against external conditions, will show...
Excellent camera, I have bought 4, with the right settings it does a very good job. For those considering using it with PoE, the camera itself does not support it, but with a splitter + injector (for over 15 meters) from tp-link, it works perfectly.
Flawless. Very easy installation and operation of the application. Good quality plastics. If it had POE, it would be the perfect camera. But for the money and what it offers, it is a very honest choice. Personally, even though I had the option to connect it close to a socket, I preferred to terminate a power cable to the installation point to have extra outlets for power if I need to add more cameras. The image is excellent in both day and night conditions, notifications are immediate and with few errors because sometimes it picks up car lights as motion. Many functions for motion zones, face detection, vehicles, alarms, etc.
Very good camera with clear image day and night and easy connection.
I bought 3 cameras and the connection was made through LAN. The power supply was done through a POE INJECTOR LAN ADAPTER.
The only problem that occurred was that one camera would suddenly disconnect during the day. So it needed to be disconnected from the power and then reconnected.
The problem was solved by changing the power supply, as the camera was located at a distance of 20 meters.
The power supply included with the camera is 9v 0.6A. The power supply I connected is 12v 12A.
Also, the other 2 cameras were connected to the same power supply because they are located at a distance of 15m and 12m respectively.
However, for long distances, a more powerful power supply is needed because due to the distance, voltage drop is observed due to the DC
I have 6, fantastic night vision, just like during the day where the image is even clearer. Cheap subscription for a camera at 3 euros per month, with the first month free, and very easy to use software. Easy to connect. I can't express any negatives
Very good product, good quality-price ratio. Although it is in a spot where the Wifi router signal is not very strong, the camera works without any problems. The image is very good even at night. The sound from the microphone is also very clear. The installation is relatively simple, nothing too complex, just need to have power nearby. I didn't have a power outlet, so I had to have a technician come to pull power, so the installation was a bit more difficult in my case.
It could be rated with 4 stars, but considering the relatively low price for what it offers, I rate it with 5 stars. First impression after 10 days of use. On the negative side: The image it projects (with 1080) could be clearer, something that could be compensated if the contrast and brightness could be adjusted by the user, which is not possible. On the negative side, perhaps the lack of FTP is included to make the cloud move more. On the positive side: The wifi connection is immediate and shows with an RSSI signal of -55 to be very stable. Motion detections have not given me false alerts except for a few justified exceptions, while human alerts happen when there are actually people. Equally useful and functional are the case-by-case detection zones as well as their scheduling. Finally, recording to the SD memory is smooth and according to the environment that the camera monitors, measuring that for a full 24-hour continuous recording covers about 2 Gb of space.
A fair camera I would say both in quality and ease of operation settings etc.
What I can't say impressed me is the image quality. And what I mean. For the height of a floor it is good. For a slightly taller height it is not so good. Even if you zoom in on the camera's shot details like license plates and such are not clear.
At least compared to another one I have with the same characteristics that I got from the people who installed my alarm, it is not even close.
Of course, on the plus side, even at night it does not distort the colors or show them as night vision. They are normal colors.
The camera was purchased for outdoor use (2 to be exact), in a region of Northern Greece with harsh winters. Initially, the connection is very easy. The only thing needed is power nearby. The network connection is even easier... 3 steps and done. As for the image, I did not expect it to be so good... don't expect to see details from a distance of 20 meters, but for motion detection, alerts, and overall a simple camera, it is value for money.
What I will recommend from experience is subscribing to tapo so that you don't have any issues with the SD card.
Amazing camera! If you place it all the way back in the area you want, it captures the whole face! For example, in the parking lot where I placed it, it captures the whole face up to 13 meters
I have installed it on the front of my house and it covers a large range. Due to the fact that there are trees in its detection spectrum, this causes continuous notifications (especially when it's windy). This can be a bit tiring despite the various settings you can adjust (motion sensitivity, person detection, etc). Otherwise, the image and sound are very good. Overall, it is a decent purchase for its price.
It does what it says, the cloud service is worth it, otherwise you can use a memory card. The image is decent, not so good when zoomed in but okay. Waterproof, proved itself during the winter. Worth it, it is value for money.
It's worth 100%, it shows everything clearly (not so much when zooming in) but still satisfactory. Personally, I work with 1080p and I don't see a huge difference with 2K, and it helps save memory. At night, the truth is that in black and white you can distinguish someone better, when the light is on it offers color but not perfect resolution, however, the light is strong and nice. It has many settings for notifications, it connected directly with Google Assistant and if you give a command, you have live image! Easy connection, you don't need to do almost anything, it didn't give me any trouble in the menu, everything is detailed.
