I have it for 2 months. From my experience with the printer, it is suitable for a home that needs a printer for school, work, etc. Just a little expensive for its ink.
The worst printer I have ever bought. After trying different ink cartridges, it simply never worked again. I bought genuine ones from the beginning but it still didn't work... not even cleaning the printhead helped.
Garbage. It constantly needs ink without printing. The inks are very expensive, and if you run out of, for example, yellow (which I might have used for a maximum of 10 prints), it doesn't let you print in black and white until it is replaced. The response from Epson is that this is how they operate (ALL XP models) and that even if you only use black and white, it still consumes the other colors. Don't buy it; you will keep throwing your money away!! Personally, I'm taking it to the trash...
Well, the machine is just fine, it prints well, quickly and with quality, quality construction, fast internet connection, I wonder how some people struggle, if you are not good with technology it's not the machines' fault so don't rate negatively
Excellent machine, very compact in size, fast in printing, ink is cheap (can also use imitation). I don't know why a couple of people wrote negative reviews, the machine has been very convenient for me, I have had it for a year and a half.
The machine is terrible, I'm not talking about construction or printing quality and other such things, it's silly to expect that from a cheap machine (what will you do with 200 to 300 euros). I only bought it for black and white printing and if I ever need the scanner, the scanner is mediocre but I don't mind, I expected it and the printing is problematic with the wifi communication issue with the printer. It always has connection problems (router-printer one and a half meters away) and after 3-4 minutes it prints, unless it throws a window at you and you need to press something else, otherwise add more time for a simple black and white print.
I bought it a week ago purely for household and simple family use. After many years of not buying a printer and with so much technology nowadays, I thought I would have difficulty in installing it, but to my surprise, I didn't have any difficulty at all. To be precise, I didn't even need to open the instructions. From the moment I pressed the ON button on the printer, it guided me step by step for everything. For the ink cartridges, for the setup, etc... It has Greek language, the software is compatible with Windows 11, very easy and it recognized the machine without any difficulty via USB with a desktop computer (the USB cable is not included in the package. Ink, power cable, and a manual with a CD containing drivers and software are included). Scanning at 300 dpi is quite good, of course, by choosing the appropriate preset. I don't know if it's fast. I'm not really concerned about that. As for reliability and ink economy, I can't say yet, but that also depends on usage. So far, I am completely satisfied.
For household use obviously but could also do simple office work. Very satisfied in all aspects. The compatible inks are economical and the 4XL ones cost 15-20€. Truly a value for money purchase. Overall very satisfied and we are always talking about simple use
Very good multifunctional machine, scans, copies, and prints, takes compatible cartridges with around 15 euros. I have printed about 200 pages and the ink levels have dropped to only 20% for the colored ones, the black ink hasn't dropped below 10%. I hope this printer lasts me for years.
P.S.: The initial ink cartridges are only for printer setup and for 30-40 pages.
I was impressed, I had a 15-year-old OKI, there is no comparison in terms of technology, compared to HP it has much lower cost, as it works with only one black ink compatible with a cost below 10 euros for 500 pages. It easily connected to a desktop computer, two laptops, one quite old, mobile, it prints, scans, something that HP printers that cost more money do not do. Of course, it is not very fast. Definitely, it is worth its money.
Stay away from this machine !!! After 20 prints (not photos) it gave me a warning to change the 2 ink cartridges. I changed them because they told me that the first ones are for calibration and they run out immediately. I changed them and after another 20 prints it gave me the message to change them again. I took it to the store where I bought it and the technician told me that the problem is with the ink cartridges. That the batch is defective and he replaced them with new ones. After another 15-20 prints it gave me the message again to change the ink cartridges. I changed them again with a free batch they gave me from the store and it again gave me the message to change them shortly after. I took the machine to the service center, they sent it to Epson and the response was that the machine is working fine. It was never replaced by Epson or the store and I am left with a useless new machine!!!! Epson and the store are unacceptable!
It is very beautiful, prints very well and vividly, and easily converts files, for example, to PDF through scanning.
However, there are also some negatives: 1. the plastic that holds the paper on the back of the machine is so flimsy that you're afraid it might break in your hands.
2. although it says you can directly connect your mobile phone to print, this never happened... I had to first connect it to the home network and then connect it to the phone (I don't know why).
3. the instructions for the WiFi are nonexistent (even though the little screen helps slightly), I had to watch a video on YouTube.
4. I would like it to be faster and quieter.
5. the ink is very expensive and comes in small quantities (with the 'large' quantity package costing 96 euros, I wanted to know if they put gold leaves in the ink?)
