I simply love JBL. It is generally a bit expensive as a brand, but it is worth every penny no matter what you get. This specific speaker is very reliable. It is worth the money and more
If someone has the go 2, I don't think there is a big difference in sound quality. The go 3 is just louder and has slightly better bass. The appearance is subjective, but I think most people would choose the go 3. If you don't have either of the two, I believe it's better to spend an extra 20-30€ and get either the flip 5 or the clip 4, both of which are much better speakers than the go 3.
The speaker is immortal, I have taken it with me on my Europe tour, I have put it to work at impromptu small party/family gathering in the village, in the general new apartment after a hangover and at a barbecue in a field in the middle of nowhere, its battery lasts long, it does not overheat and its bass is just right (you shake your body, the windows don't shake). 10/10 would buy again when I manage to break it.
For me, who is not interested in a very powerful speaker with bass, I consider it to be honest for its price. Battery life is quite satisfactory, and it is very lightweight. As for the construction, I would say it is not much, for example, for the beach, etc., because I think all the silicone materials will start to peel off. But for a night on the terrace with friends and music that doesn't break windows, it's the best.
