I have it on the balcony, so when I go out on the balcony it sends a notification after a few seconds from 10 to 50. If a thief climbed onto the balcony from the other side that the camera sees and shook it to look at the ceiling and never sent a notification
I have it outdoors. Before a year passed, the USB c connection started corroding. Moisture got inside. The camera is now blurry due to the moisture. I always made sure the rubber cap was tightly closed. It is not a good outdoor camera.
Good image quality, easy installation, the connection with the mobile is a bit of a hassle but relatively easy, the battery at first was acting up, barely lasting a day, after 5-6 charges it recovered and lasts 3-4 weeks depending on how often it records!
It only works with the indoor receiver, I haven't found a way to reconnect it when it shuts down, so I have to pair it again from the beginning. It's only useful if you want to use it somewhere without wiring and not for long distances. At night, the image is not perfect, especially for long distances. When you move it away from the receiver at 10-12 meters, it may disconnect. I wouldn't buy it again
At a distance of 10 meters from its own router, it doesn't catch.. I did the installation 5 times and nothing changed. Also, we changed 3-4 locations and today, when accessing remotely, it decided on its own (with 100% battery) to go offline.. while I have a cheap Chinese rotating camera on the same network that performs very well under medium demands.. I was thinking of buying 3 more, but now I want to throw it out the window.. the Xiaomi app is unfortunately a disaster.. it crashes once or twice out of 10 and restarts.. I have iOS operating system, I don't know if that plays a role..
Now, the image.. as long as it worked, that is.. mediocre quality with quite blurry spots, at night don't expect to see many details in an outdoor area.. generally, don't expect a crystal-clear image. If you want something like that, go for another option.

The camera definitely needs a Xiaomi indoor receiver, otherwise it won't connect anywhere and it's useless. However, since these indoor receivers are no longer available on the market, I bought a smart hub, which doesn't work for this purpose.
