Reviews
I was lucky to recently get it for 190. The reason I chose this one and not a cheaper one is because I had bought a cheap thermostat twice before and each time the temperature handle would harden and I couldn't turn it. The last one had even stopped maintaining the temperature during fluctuations.
This particular model, Grohe Precision 34598000, probably won't turn out well for me:
a) the handle is somewhat tight to turn. Not to a problematic extent, but given my experience so far, this makes me fear that it will harden even more.
b) of course, I tried the experiment of having a stable warm bath temperature and suddenly opening another faucet to absolute cold/hot. It doesn't work as perfectly as other thermostats. It does the job, of course, and you won't suddenly get burned or frozen, but the temperature of the faucet changes. For example, if I have set it to 38 degrees and I have opened the other faucet to hot, then the 38 will become a constant 33 degrees - with confirmed hot water from the water heater.Get the Grohe Grohtherm 800 34576000 instead, it is relatively at the same price level and doesn't have the problems I mentioned.

It meets my expectations. In terms of construction, it is much lighter than a Grohe shower battery from 2000.
Its durability will be evident in the future.Pay attention to the filters it has on the water inlets (cold & hot), as they are easy to clog, which will greatly reduce the flow.
In this case, you will need to remove it, clean the filters, and reposition it.Translated from Greek ·Did you find this review helpful?Very good appearance.
The functionality is harmonic.
It responds immediately to changes in water temperature when another faucet is opened in the house
or from the start-stop variation of the boiler.
I really successfully experienced the Scottish shower.
It takes some time to adjust, coming from the different direct handling of the classic faucet, but it's not something negative.
What I will notice is the warranty mentioned on the websites, wrong or not, 5 years.
It is 2 years and it is wrongly stated as 5, which may apply to some other products of the company.
Misleading perhaps for someone, but I don't believe it will affect anything.
I bought it on 09/12/22 for €199, a limited-time offer.Translated from Greek ·Did you find this review helpful?
