  Unless you want it ONLY for streaming, it is a completely useless device for Greeks.
  The main problem is that Roku does not allow the installation of any other Media Player, apart from its own (Roku Media Player - RMP). RMP is simply unacceptable:
  1. It does not decode modern Dolby audio systems (Dolby TruHD & Dolby Digital Plus), and I'm not even sure if it can decode the older Dolby Digital.
  2. It does not support any type of internal subtitle (within the mkv, mp4, or m4v file), whether it is in character format (e.g. SRT, SSA, or ASS) or in display format (e.g. PGS or VOBSUB).
  3. It does support external SRT subtitles, but it DOES NOT SUPPORT GREEK CHARACTERS.

  However, even if you want it ONLY for streaming, e.g. from Netflix, Amazon Prime, and YouTube, its WiFi will give you two nice surprises:
  1. You need to use a VPN and connect from another country to the Roku website in order to create an account. It doesn't have to be done through Roku, it can be done on a computer in advance and simply log in to Roku. But why should this be necessary?
  2. IT DOES NOT SEE THE 5GHz WIFI, UNLESS IT IS ON SPECIFIC CHANNELS (specifically channels 36, 40, 44, 48, 149, 153, 157, 161, and 165). Of course, it is not at all certain that the router's automatic channel selector will have chosen these specific channels for the 5GHz WIFI. Why did they do this? Ask them... Note that a relevant USB adapter is required for wired connection to the router.

  For me, this purchase was a lot of trouble for 3-4 hours, searching for what went wrong with the WIFI and later trying to find another media player, and then an immediate return. I will not touch Roku again. There are many devices on the market with similar capabilities that run free Google TV or Android TV. Prefer them.

  In my possession for less than a week. For now, very easy to set up after temporarily using a VPN to register on the Roku website. No need to enter any payment card details, etc. In operation, it is very stable and fast. I have it connected to one of the HDMI ports on my home cinema receiver, not just the DENON, and what I get from Apple TV and Netflix is at least top-notch for my ears. Can you believe that this small streaming device passes Spatial audio and Dolby Atmos to the speakers (the relevant indication immediately lights up on the amplifier's display depending on the type of sound it is producing at that time, of course)? I would like the Cosmote TV - EON apps to be available unless they already exist and I just can't find/install them. Airplay also works very well. It activates/deactivates as a device from the remote control because it is very low power consumption. This happens after a while if you turn off your amplifier if you have it connected that way. In the menu, there is a button for opening/closing on your screen, but that is for your media player. If I discover anything else worth mentioning, I will update the review.

  The best TV box ever. It surpasses all the known ones I have tried. It is the only one that has never crashed! Immediate response and especially if you don't have a very old TV, you can turn it on and off with its remote control.   You give around 40 euros and you can watch Netflix, YouTube on a screen from a decade or more ago, while if you invest your time, you will be rewarded with your own content and casting from other devices. No glitches at all. It does everything it says. It's worth it.

  Excellent product. You will encounter problems when activating ROKU, where it asks for payment information. Simply open a ROKU account on their website before activating the BOX, without providing banking card information. I use it for PLEX.   Really, excellent product. Unlike Amazon's Fire TV, it doesn't have ads or search for Netflix, YouTube, Disney+, and generally anything else you want among Amazon's recommended content (=ads).

  Attention to those who want Disney+!   I bought it on sale for about €27. I use it for Netflix, as well as streaming movies through Plex and my computer. It also works perfectly with Apple devices through airplay, while for Android devices you just need to download an additional app. I should also note that recently ERTFLIX was added, so now there are plenty of options.
  I should note that currently there is no possibility to watch Amazon Prime (although there is a limited version with a few shows), and Disney+ is not yet supported, although it supports Apple TV properly and allows for resolution changes depending on the content (e.g. 1080p/24).
  There is no official Roku app in the Greek AppStore, with all that entails.
  In conclusion, I would buy it again even at its current price of ~€40+.
