Of course, the truth is that it doesn't exactly protect the cameras but the surrounding area, but it protrudes a millimeter above the camera glass.

  There are also protectors that are completely closed in front and above the cameras, and there is glass above the cameras, but I don't know how clear the glass is and to what extent it affects the clarity, even if it's imperceptible, so it's good to avoid them. In fact, if you put one of these, there will be a problem with the tiny hole from which the laser focus comes out, resulting in difficulty focusing in night photos or videos.
