It does a pretty good job in a 40sqm area, but it also depends on how many drops of fragrance you will put. It has options for 1, 3, or 6 hours along with a specific color, without alternating. All of these can be adjusted from the controller. 4 stars instead of 5 for two reasons, firstly sometimes the water splashes outside the container and also many times the drops block the air outlet where it needs to be cleaned when this happens.
