Important information
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can

Reliable as always, Kingston was installed in a new PC and is a very good all-around drive. The speeds are what the manufacturer claims and the temperatures remain low after hours of heavy use
Very fast although it raises temperatures a bit. At the end of November, with a cooler and at idle, it is at 36.
The program provided by Kingston for disk cloning is also very good.
Words are unnecessary, flawless and honest, one of the 3 I have is ONLY for the operating system and for basic programs (almost empty in other words for fast boot), and in the other two the 2nd is for games and the 3rd is for image and video editing programs.
I have bought 3 of these to use as second drives in three computers, AM4 3900x, AM4 5950x, and ThreadRipper 3960X.
All three computers have the Samsung 990 pro as the main drive and the Kingston as the second. It is very fast and does not reach high temperatures. Now that I have installed them, I saw that I can also add heatsinks for safety, so I have ordered a heatsink for each NVMe.
The price is a bit high, but it's fast with plenty of space and most importantly: it has one of the longest lifespans in TBW, as the 4TB has 3.2PBW. An important detail: it is double-sided and will not fit in some laptop motherboards where the NVME slot is low profile and "touches" the motherboard. Also, the sticker on the chips is not paper but a thin aluminum "heat sink," which will be extremely useful for motherboards that do not have or cannot accommodate a regular heat sink (generally, laptops will benefit from this)
The review is for the 512 gb. Purchase from tech hive.gr 27/9/24 everything very fast. Extensive space for the ps5. It was installed in a be quiet heatsink (NOT the pro, the lid does not close) The transfer to this 250 gb was instantaneous formatted at 6250 mb/s it is very fast as long as it has durability recommended.
One of the most efficient in its category, fast and low temperatures (on a Gigabyte B550 Aorus Elite V2 motherboard). Purchased last November for around €70, even now that the price has gone up a bit, it is still worth the purchase to the fullest
Very good. Windows 11 and 3 games (BF 2042, Diablo IV & Jedi Survivor) are a little below half capacity (953 GB net). Very fast and temperatures from 30 to 38. It has been installed in the MSI Pro B760-P DDR4 II.
One of the best options available right now. In terms of speed, it delivers what it promises, doesn't heat up much, is stable and reliable, with a long lifespan and warranty. If you find it <= 0.06 €/GB, it's worth it.
I just installed it in a 2016 Dell Optiplex PC.
The PC already had a 256Gb Sata SSD running Windows 10.
It was upgraded to Windows 11 and runs Autocad 2022.
The performance is excellent.
But the cooler needs a thermal pad when doing large file transfers.
Makes sense.
With Crystal Disk Mark, it gives me about the speeds it advertises for sequential write and read (which is basically x6 what I had with the old - 2019 - SSD)
Very good! It does what it promises! I got it for games but also for 4k video. Price is quite good for what it offers. It remains to be seen how it holds up over time. One of the best choices in 2TB.
Purchased before the market increase, at 115€/2TB. I use it on pci-e 4.0 and it has the speeds it advertises. The software they give you to copy the old hard drive and make a mirror worked flawlessly. It has 2gb dram so the speeds don't drop.
Very good but the price has increased a lot, I personally bought it at around 50 to 60 euros so for the money it was purchased it was something more than money4value
Well, after 2 months of use and having tested other PCI4 GEN, I have to say one thing! YOU BUY IT WITH CLOSED EYES! Of course, I had managed to get it in December 23rd for 74 euros, 1tb!!
The major NAND Flash manufacturers have decided to increase their prices, resulting in SSD prices reaching the stratosphere. Already the prices are outrageous and they will continue to rise. The only thing you can do is hold off on buying SSDs in order to exert some pressure and MAYBE the prices will drop.
Now, about this specific one. At the 60-65 euros that you could find it a few months ago, I had nothing but good things to say. Fast and reliable. However, the price of 105 euros that it is currently going for is at the very least ridiculous for a disk without a cooling system. Now, if you still want to buy a disk, this one is known as a very good choice. However, at 109 euros (which is also very expensive compared to previous prices), you can find Corsair SSDs with a heatsink that keeps the disk cool and allows for consistently better performance and lifespan. Get it before it reaches 130 euros.
It was purchased to replace a WD SN850 500GB that had SMART errors and was sent to WD headquarters for replacement.
The KC3000 is as fast as it promises, it is my second Kingston (I also have a Fury 4TB) and after the failures of some Samsung and now WD, I probably won't be switching from this company.
I have made a video on Youtube showing its placement on the console and the installation. You can watch it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XuhYjA37rj4
I bought the Kingston KC3000 2TB for Playstation 5.
Since the drive does not have a built-in cooler, I also bought the Be Quiet Cooling For M.2 SSD MC1.

The drive reaches the promised speeds and is considered one of the best for the console according to the review on Toms Hardware.

At €144, the price is relatively good. It could have been more affordable since it doesn't have a cooler.
If you plan to upgrade the storage space of your Playstation 5, it's good to take a look at it.
When it transferred or read data, it would produce an error and disappear from the computer as an SSD. Replacement within one day from the website. If I had known, I would have gone for cheaper ones from the beginning.
I bought it for an operating system disk and also created a second partition for my games. Previously, I had the KC2500. The disk is very fast, it has a big difference from the previous one (which is also very good). I used my motherboard's cooler and its temperatures, under heavy load, did not exceed 60 degrees. Recommended (104€ for 2TB)
Changed my Samsung 980 and it runs on operating system etc pcie 4.0 with x3 Crucial MX 500 2tera sataIII.
Finally found the duo I was looking for.
Games/music/FL studio/rendering/photo editing software is user-friendly and the drivers firmware are perfect so far.
No complaints about the speed, it has only dropped 2% in the past 6 months with 14/24 hours of daily use.
In recent years, Kingston had disappointed me a bit in terms of disks, speeds, etc... but with this little disk, it has earned my respect again.
Normal temperature, my motherboard had a cooler and overall, my tower has 12 + 2 fans along with the CPU cooler. The case was non-RGB except for the 2 RAM sticks.
