Very bad. Where should I start...
1) Terrible deadzones
2) The paddles are in a horrible position
3) Very heavy
4) Very noisy
5) Quite thick for small hands
The best controller I have ever gotten.
I have gone through the Microsoft Elite 2, PowerA advantage, Gamesir G7 se, etc.
This one has many buttons that help and is perfect for FPS (Call of Duty, etc.).
Many think I am playing on a computer and not with a controller...
I have small hands and still, it works for me.
I don't use all the back buttons, just the top ones.
Nice feel overall, nice click on everything, and most importantly... it has been working without any problems for a month now
Let's start with the build quality. It is sturdy with very good premium plastics, the buttons have a nice feel and are placed in the right spots (I have big palms). The rear buttons may not be convenient for people with small hands, as they will need to stretch their fingers. It has a very good ergonomic grip and does not tire you at all. Of course, it has a 3.5mm jack for headphones, but I prefer to use the USB on my computer. LED, vibration, and button settings can be adjusted through an application. It works incredibly well in-game, of course, once you learn and adjust all the buttons it has.
In summary... it does its job with a controller that costs 55-60€: Yes, it does. If you want something more, go for it and you won't regret it
A big downside is that it doesn't appear in Razer Synapse, therefore it doesn't synchronize its LEDs with other Razer devices.
I have had it for a year now with a lot of playing and two hard falls, and it still works like I bought it yesterday. I have also been relieved from the battery issue. I highly recommend it!
Top Controller for PC/XBOX!! Having tried over 10 controllers in the past years (each costing over 100 Euros, for example Elite 1 & 2, Razer Raiju TE/Ultimate, Razer Wolverine, etc.), it is a controller that is worth its money. At the moment, it is the best controller in the market in terms of accuracy of movements (no comparison to the known drift of the Elite) and the buttons are the best due to the fact that they are clicky (like an expensive mouse), no comparison to the fake buttons of Microsoft controllers. The only drawback is that it is wired and not wireless. A comparative advantage of the Chroma V2 over the regular V2 is that it has an additional 4 buttons on the bottom and the USB-C cable is detachable, and for the first time you can use any common USB-C cable you desire compared to older Razer controllers with the special port that only accepted manufacturer cables. The discreet LED lighting that can be changed is also wonderful (you will need to download the Razer Controller Setup for XBOX program from the Microsoft Store). It is lighter than the previous Wolverine model (2018) but has a more quality construction.
H Razer historically creates high-quality products. This particular one is exceptional in every aspect, but it is also important to consider the warranty issue. Currently, this company has (perhaps) the best service when it comes to 3rd Party peripherals. Replacement without questions, as long as the consumer sends them a short video with the problem. If someone is going to invest almost 200 euros in a controller, the issue of integrity in its operation is significant. It is highly recommended.
